PATTY McFERREN-BLANTON & JR BLANTON
McFerrens of Quincy PA
Hi! Were you ever able to find any info about any of the McFerrens of Quincy, PA?

Especially:
- Peter McFerren (1812-1898)
Find A Grave Memorial# 38419984

- Nancy Keiffer McFerren (1815-1900)
Find A Grave Memorial# 62119960

These are my great great grandparents, who are "dead-ended" and that some 100 other families are searching for their parents.

Any info you or your relatives can share would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

Samuel Baer Continued
"In Memory Of...." on his stone makes me wonder if his body was recovered and returned to the family.

It's a similar story concerning my great grand uncle, Charles W. Reeves, who also has a "Memorial stone" at Prices - "In Memory of our son Charles W. Reeves born July 10 1881 Drowned in Copper River Alaska July 1911 Aged 30 years" - his body was never recovered.

Needless to say, I've discovered some very interesting characters in my family.

So the next time we visit Douglas, we have to toss some flowers in the North Platte River for Samuel.

Ok Gary, here is what I did. Since Bonnie is a good girl and does her updates I sent her the memorial # from my memorial and ask her if she would go to my memorial and cut and paste the obituary to her memorial. I ask her to let me know when she had it done and then I will delete mine.

thank you for seeing this.
Crystal

Gary I don't mind changing it or deleting it if he is already listed at Green Hill, but I don't know the memorial # you are talking about. Can you send me an edit or the memorial # that I need to move or delete.

McFerrens of Quincy
Hi! That would be terrific! We are especially needing info on Peter McFerren (1812-1898) and Nancy Keiffer McFerren (1815-1900)--along with some 100 other families who are "dead ended." Also, we have a space in time in the 1930s where my father, Richard PATRICK McFerren and his only sister, Mary McFerren "went missing." We think they may have been at the Quincy Orphanage, but the people there with the records cannot find them. Anyhow, if your wife would like to call me anytime (after 9 p.m. is best for my cell phone minutes), it's 828-712-2846. Gratefully, Patty McFerren-Blanton & JR Blanton

Snowbergers-McFerrens of Snow Hill Nunnery, Quincy, PA
Hi! Are you related to the Snowbergers of Snow Hill, Quincy? Do you have any info on any of the McFerrens who may have lived or worshipped there?

I am one of more than 100 families "dead ended" with Peter McFerren (1812-1898), Find A Grave Memorial# 38419984. He and his wife Nancy Keiffer McFerren have no parents. They are both buried in Snow Hill. I took photos there last August, and appended a lot of Snowberger photos to their existing memorials in Find A Grave.

Would appreciate any info you may have.

Gratefully,

Patty McFerren-Blanton

Thank you for the addition. Mr Blum was born in Pataspsco, MD. His first wife was Dolores Jean Spencer Blum if you would like to connect them. His name is on her headstone but I do not know if he will be buried there.
