|Nancy Brantingham||Polly Maria Brantingham|
hi. I'm stumped with this woman. From family records, I know that sjhe was married once to a man named Vaughn, who died. In 1845 she married George Alvina Brantingham. Her maiden name was Blackburn, but I can't find her parents. She was married at the Winona Meeting House in Winona, Ohio. I was wondering if you had any further information?

She is buried beside her first husband (Elias Nelson Vance.) at Kirker Cemetery Adams Co., OH. She married her second husband William Davis in 1853 in West Union, OH. William Davis is buried beside his first wife Rebecca Beam in the Winchester Cemetery in Adams Co., OH. Sarah Ann "Sally Ann" was the daughter of John Kincaid and Sarah "Sally" Hannah Kincaid. They are also buried at Kirker Cemetery.

Thanks for the heads up on the duplicate memorial. My information regarding place of burial came from his death certificate. I contacted Tammy, who created the second memorial, to see if she knows something I don't!

|Fred Sanford||Re: D.C. listings...|
You are one of the very few who actually get it right and list D.C. only once (not twice) for birth and death dates. Long story but not used after 1840 and is there cause some graves predate this.
Again, you got yours right!

|David D||re: Forrest Raymond Finnell|
I am trying to identify the place of burial of Joan Esther Finnell, the older of two daughters of Forrest Finnell and his wife Dorthy Verlin Grindle. All three were enumerated in 1940 at household 54 of North Manchester, Indiana. Joan, who died at Chapel Hill, North Carolina on 7 July 1995, is identified in the North Carolina Death Indexes as Joan Esther Coil and this same source reports that she was buried in state. I have not found her on findagrave, and I also don't know the name of her husband and any surviving children (if any). I would like this information to help complete a "reverse pedigree" for John Banta (1805-64) from whom she is descended. Your help would be appreciated. David Davenport

Thanks to both you and Cynthia for reminding me that I needed to correct the spouses for Pearl Alice Hess Blair McGinnis, #65276672 and get them in the correct order - finally had to erase both husbands to get the system to do that. Thanks!
