Thank you
I am Ruth Causey Delaroderie's granddaughter and I remember my Moma and Grandmother speaking about Rayford dying In the war and how hard it was for the family to have him buried so far away. It broke my young heart to hear that no one in the family could afford to visit his gravesite. Thank you for remembering him here and sharing it with us. I hope someday soon to visit Henri-Chappelle.

Vanburg Cemetery
Ron, do you know of a Vanburg Cemetery in Bunkie or if it is called by a different name? I have a friend whose father is buried there but I can't find a Vanburg Cemetery on Find A Grave in Louisiana.

The above was the brother of my grandmother Minnie Inus Holland Luttrell. I assume you are not related.

RE: Memorial # 54999616
She went by a lot of different names! I think Sarry is the nickname for Sarah and her middle name is probably Mae after her mother. I don't know how she went from Sarah to Tennie. Hopefully if someone is trying to find her they will hit on one of the names. Thanks for your research.

Wow, that edit was fast! While I did not request a transfer of Betty's memorial page, I will take this one. I don't believe an edit equals a transfer request!

Thanks for creating the page.

Memorial# 88561713 Rena May
Mr. Manley,

Rena May is not the Daughter of Henry Enos May and Minnie Rosealine Ferguson.

She is the Daughter of Daniel Evan May (Find A Grave Memorial# 20807120) and Laura "Lula" Mae Johnson,(Find A Grave Memorial# 20807054).

I also believe her name was Irene and she was called "Rena" as a nickname.

Thanks for all your hard work!!

1Lt Herbert H Hirth
Hi Ron,

Just a friendly note. :-)

You left a flower on his grave at Epinal that states "Marker only. Interred in Hollywood Cemetery, McComb, MS. See # 90628258"

His Epinal Record:

Herbert "is" interred at Epinal and not at Hollywood. The record at Hollywood is a "Cenotaph" in his honor and he is not interred there which is why his headstone there says "In Memory of".

Thanks My Friend,

Thank you for thinking about my step-father, although I considered him as my father but he wasn't, and I hope you read my message and that you will correct his information because to me it doesn't seem fair that I am considered his only daughter when I'm not his biological daughter at all, and I think that his biological daughter, my half-sister Olivia, is jealous of me because I am considered his only daughter when she is his rightful blood daughter and I am like a adopted daughter because to him I was his daughter, because he was there when my mother found out she was pregnant with me and that she would have a baby and he said that he would marry her and help her take care of me because he loved her that much and wanted to be in her life that much and that he never really cared that I was not his child.
