2nd Lt Herman L Richardson
Thank you for all you do! Herman is my grandfather's brother, and I have been searching for any information I can find. I'd like to know more than I do... are the markers actually engraved with their names? Just so sad.... but honored for his service.... Cindy Shivers, born of Joan Margaret Richardson Shivers & her father is Milton Berry Richardson.

Karen Downey
Claude Douglas Red - 90th Bomber Group
Hi, Kenneth:

This is my uncle Doug, my momís twin brother, for whom I had very little information. In fact, up until I started researching on Ancestry, I thought he died in Pearl Harbor. Itís great getting this information together for the family, and youíve provided an important bit. I added a couple of photos I found of Uncle Doug, one in his bomber jacket and one of he and my mom on their graduation day.

Are you aware of any other websites or books I can read about this group and perhaps even his squad?

Thanks for all your work and for keeping the memory of these veterans alive!

Sincerely,
Karen Downey

SSgt George W Webb 1944
Hello,

Could I have you remove the crew list from the photo area on Memorial# 56753961; would like to add a portrait photo for George but there is a limit to the number of photos that can be placed on one memorial. The names of the crew has been added to the bio area.

Thank you

Do you have any information on Martha Chaffin who married Joseph Chaffin? They had two daughters named Annie and America? One of them married a Sheats/Sheets.

Ken, are you related to Annie Sheats who married Grover Cleveland Sheats? She was born July 9, 1890, died April 29, 1961. She was a distant cousin to my husband. Her mother was America Chaffin. I have a copy of a hand-written letter from a John T. Sheats. I think he died in 2003.

Donna Spears
Fairview Cemetery
I note that you have created many memorials for people buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Pryor OK.
One of those is Bessie Ethel Smith (11508869). I am searching for her husband, Thomas Richard Smith. Do you know anything about him? I know that he survived her. He was born in 1887.

William Smith
Charles O. Smith
Charles O. Smith was my father's oldest brother. I do family research and was so delighted to find this sight on findagrave. Thank you so much for doing this. I remember that my grandmother and the wife of Charles attended the ceremony back in the St. Louis area. Charles has a daughter whom he never saw and still lives here in Oregon...she does not do computers. I have been trying to find details of the flight that went down, but have had no success. Frustrating that the government did not put the plane number on the headstone. I would like to do a bio for Charles if it would be o.k. with you folks. Thanks again, William Smith, Bandon Oregon.
