Evelyn Henwood
I got a photo for you of Evelyn's stone and hopefully will be able to get it posted later today or tomorrow. I wanted to let you know that there IS a Henry Parmiter buried at Woodland and send you these links:

http://www.wcfcle.org/interment/wcfiis_detail.php?l=Parmiter&f=Henry&b=1905-01-10 00:00:00&r=049468&s=0&x=parmiter&y=&d=049468&a=C&t=N

http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ohcdrt/clecems/00dexfind.html#woo

That seems like a name that could be misspelled in any number of ways, so you might want to dig a little deeper to see if Henrietta is in there too. Good luck!

Pictures of the Wells family.
Hello, I see if you are related to Orie Franklin Wells by his sister Sarah Ethel Wells DeHaven. I understand from other family members that she had pictures of her mother, father, and others. I would be pleased if you could share those with me. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

He was quite the looker, I wish I had pictures of more of my family, and If I do, they have no names. I have lots of pictures with no names. Thank you for letting me see those pictures of Ross, I always like to put a face to the name, That was very thoughtful of you. Thanks again

RE: Ross and Lydia Henwood
Hi, I entered Lydia, as unknown where she is buried, I found on line she was married to Ross, and so I matched them up. Lydia was my great grandmothers sister, I have been searching and searching for her actual burial place, all I know is she died in California, I have letters from her saying my great grandmother was dying, and the years match up on my great grandmother, so I also entered her as unknown, but I know she is buried in California also. I don't have any pictures of, Lydia that I am aware of. I don't even know how long they were married. Actually I found his name spelled Rose not Ross, then later I found it spelled Ross, so I found him and matched them up. Lydia later married George O'Neil, and I have letters from him too. My family wasn't good at marking names on pictures, so if I do have any, I wouldn't know cause there are no names on the photos

RE: Calvary Cemetery
Not a problem. Might be worth it to call them and ask if she's buried there. That would be my suggestion. If she is they'll give you plot info, if she's not than you'll know to look elsewhere.

Calvary
You've put in request(s) at Calvary in Cleveland. Several of us are actively working to clear the more than 715 requests. We've actually cleared close to 100 in the past week. With 400,000 burials if you could please obtain plot information AND a plot map one of us will be more likely to be able to fill the request, as the office will only give out a little information to each person. The office phone number is (216) 641-7575. On my page I have the plot maps listed that we already have which is quite a few. If the burial is in one of those sections we don't need another map, just the plot info on the request.

You can try to tell them you'll be visiting when they're closed, etc. So far everyone who's called has been successful in having a map mailed, a few e-mailed. If you get one let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address. With thousands of graves per section a plot map would be VERY helpful. Without plot information it's basically impossible.

Thanks!

Warrensville West
I am working on cataloging Warrensville East (now called Beachwood Cemetery) The Henwoods are not there. Henwoods are listed in Warrensville West. Some of the given names you have differ on the written records but a trip to the cemetery and visual look will show what Headstones are there. I'll take a trip over there (Warrensville West) this week and hopefully have good pictures to post for you! Check the Shaker Heights Historical Society web site. Once there go to tags on the right hand side. Pick virtual tours and it will give you the option of Warrensville Cemetery. Once there click more and pull up the spread sheet. This has both East and West listed.

Charles H. Kreegar
Dear Marcia;
Charles Kreegar/Kreeger made a huge 3 masted "model"
ship that Granny Kreeger gave to my father and mother. It has always held a place of honor in whomever's home it found it's port. The ship now rests in Decatur, Ga. with my sister and brother-in-law. I'm hoping they will eventually donate it
to a Great Lakes sailing museum in Oswego since the ship is modeled after sailing ships of the time.
Thank you for showing me were Charles is buried. It's only about 10 mins. from my home!.
Your cousin,
Cheryl

No - there was no other stone around there - but St. Agnes Cemetery has an office - and they could check for you if she is there. Phone number is (315) 475-4639. Tom

RE: Lavinia Wilson
Marcia,

Albion and Lavinia's tombstone had more information on it than I had ever seen before! They were very wise to put the exact dates and places of their birth and death on there. Now you can update their memorials with this information. That isn't to say there couldn't be a mistake on the stone--you should really check the vital records--but it's still great information!
