Philip Warren Rupp
A Question
Dear Carol, Is there any way to know if his wife's name was Mary (Nee Dinkelidein) Wolf? If so, he is my Maternal Great-Great-Grandfather. Some evidence is causing me to have hope that this is true. I would love to be able to confirm. Any help would be so very much appreciated. Thank You so very much. Yours Truly, P.W. Rupp

RE: Steckel at Evergreen
You're very welcome, my friend!

I've made 4 trips to Evergreen to find that plot. Finally saw it from the road today!

There are some other Stoeckel/Steckels in Section 56 Lot 204. Put in a request and I'll hunt those down, too.

Met DBardes at Evergreen today! We had a nice conversation and I helped her find a plot in Section 57. Always nice to meet a fellow junkie!

Muchas Smooches!

Can I assume "Civil War Veteran" is engraved on his tombstone? Or is there some other record of his service?

RE: Bernard Trame
I wish I had the source at my disposal now. I came across it in some notes I was keeping because I am working on one of your ancestor's business partners. Take a look at my memorial for Bernard Holters (1823-1878). I'll try to locate where I obtained the birthplace and send it your way.

Carol You Are Part of the "Magic" of Find a Grave
Just a note to tell you how much I appreciate all the effort you put into the memorials you post. You are one of the reasons Find a Grave is such a great genealogy tool. Your memorials have helped me past more then one "dead end" in my research. Thank you so much!

Bender/Pfitzer in Los Banos
I saw your request and I read about Mrs. Bender on the memorial page. I don't usually go to the Los Banos cemetery. However, the Pfitzers are from the Gustine area which is where I live. I knew William Pfitzer. In the cemetery near here the following Pfitzers are buried: Pfitzer, Anthony (Antony)1869 - Aug 26, 1924, Pfitzer Dollie/Dallie A. 1873-Aug 25, 1952, Pfitzer, Eachus 1904-Sep 07, 1929
Pfitzer,Ella Sophie Mar 26, 1985
Pfitzer,George Anthony, and Pfitzer, William. If you would like those photos please tell me, I'm going to the cemetery tomorrow. The cemetery is called Hills Ferry and it is located in Stanislaus county.
