|Kay and Duane Douglass||Salmon Creek Cemetery|
Thanks for the recent e.mail about the Salmon Creek Cemetery near Vancouver, Washington. I have transferred all of the sites that we entered for this cemetery. My son, Patrick Melroy, once worked as the Youth Director for the Salmon Creek Methodist Church. I trust you will take good care of this cemetery's Find.a.Grave people. Kay Douglass

|Harry Miller||Della L Limonyain Hamilton|
I just noted that you recently added her memorial #125801311 in Salmon Creek. What is the possiblity that is the same Della Hamilton listed in St Johns Cemetery #320999932, with a grave marker, with identical vital dates. The information that you added to her bio is taken from her Washington Death Certificate. We have a Della Hamilton, b. 1849 either Ohio or NY, married to a Charles E Hamilton (1861-1953) and I haven't been able to find her parents with the names provided in her Death Certificate. Our Charles and Della were in the 1910 Pollock, Clark County, WA US Census. Charles apparently remarried in 1920, suggesting that Della died between 1910 and 1920. Do you have anything to add to this?

I just e mailed you also.
Thanks so much for linking Sarah to her parents Solomon McGuire and Susannah Garrett McGuire.
It has been a long research project to find all the information that confirms the children that were born to Solomon and Susannah. A total of 7 in all, that lived past infancy.
I am now working on completing the last daughter Cassanna (4 oldest child,in my research.) This week I have found more information, to be added to ancestry.
Find a Grave is and added research blessing for all of us.

Hello, went to Old Union Cemetery in Dundas, Ontario today. There is really almost nothing left. There is a cairn which has been boarded up on all sides so there is nothing to be seen, and then the memorial I put on George's page. The grass is completely smooth over the rest of the area, you can't tell if/where the graves were.
I looked at every stone that was used to put together the memorial, and George's isn't there. His must have been in such rough shape that it could not be used.
I have no idea why they placed the memorial where they did. I'm not sure if you can tell from the picture, but it's maybe 2 feet from the edge of the ravine. I was holding onto those bars tightly when I was checking the stones on that side!

You're most welcome, Jayne. I know the feeling of having lost a soulmate - the day you left your message was mine's first Angel Day. I miss him terribly, as I know you miss yours.

You are so welcome! Just in case you didn't see the note I put on the bottom of it (it only shows if you enlarge the photo I think), her marker is on the same one as William's but the opposite side. I couldn't find a marker for Mary the infant grand daughter of Wm & Margaret. The church is now at a different location than the cemetery. I looked up the number so I can give them a call and ask if they have more information.

There are photos on that website as well of all of them except Margaret 1908 and Mary, the infant Grndd of Wm and Margaret. I will see if I can get that photo as well.
Also not listed on my previous post (that information was gathered in 1989 I believe) but pictured is a headstone for Timothy A Curtin Jan 24 1907 - Feb 6 1998.
If you don't have access to those photos let me know and I will get them for you.

|Autumn Murphy||Margaret Curtin|
Hello. I saw your photo request for Margaret Curtin at St James Catholic Cemetery. There is a website for them hosted by Rootsweb that has maps, burial records and many photo's of headstones on it. I got on it to see if your Margaret Curtin was already photographed for this website, and there is a Margaret Curtin, but according to the headstone, she died in 1933. There's quite a few other Curtin's listed on the site as well, so I'm including a link incase there's some relations in there too. Hope this helps!

|Reggie Hughes||John Benefield|
Hello Jayne. I will go by High Point after lunch and see if I can locate the headstone. I still know a few Benefields in the area and will see if any of them know John and might have a photo. That could take a few days though depending on which family he belongs too.

Hi, Dillon Hopkins marker is missing. There is an empty spot next to his wifes. Burial info says they are buried in same lot.
