|Jennifer Burke Rowe||Edward Burk, Jr|
I was wondering if it possible that the year of death and age of an individual could be incorrect on a tombstone. I believe Edward Burk, Jr. buried in Saint Peters Catholic Church Cemetery in Perry County, is my relative. However, I show his death as occurring on April 13, 1876. I also show his birthdate as Oct. 28, 1856. His parents were Edward and Mary, but the spelling of Burk should be Burke.
I am also wondering if you can tell me how many graves from Saint Peters Catholic Church Cemetery might still be unlisted as I am searching for others in Edward's family.
Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

You made my day when I found the pictures. Tried to follow the children sites and it is amazing what the people are doing with the Find A Grave site. I really appreciate it. Having trouble copying the pictures. Still looking for Leonard Bell's grave or information about his death. He was born June 6,1813 in Westmoreland, Pa. Died Jan. 16, 1879 in Hocking county, Falls Gore Twp. Maybe he was buried on family ground and nothing to tell where. He married Samantha White on Aug. 25, 1872 Hocking county. I have a lot of information but always need more to make it complete. Thanks Again

Hi Josh, Thank you for creating the above Donnelly memorials in South Fork Cemetery. There is no way I would ever have found these Perry County OH gravesites without your help. Now....would you please link the three memorials to each other? Elizabeth is the mother and Dessadarius and Charles are two of her sons. An adjacent stone is the husband of Elizabeth, J.J.Donnelly, but his memorial #64203940 was created by another person who, I suppose, is the only person who can link J.J. to his wife Elizabeth and two sons. Thank you. Helen

Thank you Josh. I am really upset over this being Perry State Forest Property and they have disrespected this site. If they know it is there, and they didn't want it there...than they should have moved the remains to a decent place. The Shreve name is in my ancestry back to my Gr. Grandmother, Martha Shreve who is the mother of my Grandfather, Samuel Albright. (My mother's side of the family). I have gone back 13 generations for this family. This just makes me sick. A call to Ohio will be on my "to do" list to find out what is going on here.

I added birthdates to both John and Catharina, however your calculation of John's birthdate is off based upon what his tombstone says. It looks to me like he was 1y, 11m, 12d when he died.

|N Martin||William Sylvester Guisinger|
I am hoping that he is truly the missing son that I have for Philip and Sarah Guisinger. What all do you know of him? I would love to see the documentation you have on him as well. Do you by chance know of his family? Wife, children, etc?
I would love to know as much as you are willing to share with me on William Sylvester. Please email me directly.

Greetings. I share your disgust at the strip mining of burial grounds. Seeking tip on Thomas and Mary Wilson in the New Lexington U.M. Cemetery. I think they are the parents of my ancestor Elizabeth Wilson who married Abner Osborn in Perry County, 1839. Is there a church connected with this cemetery, which might have member records? Any ideas welcome. Thank you for posting these memorials.

Is there a cemetery near the remnants of this old church? I am so frustrated with those strip mining companies; they sure ruined a lot of cemeteries in Perry and Muskingum Counties. I am attempting to map both county cemeteries. Can you please provide the location of this cemetery/church? Thanks in advance for a response. Dianne

|R Gordon||Isaac Sellars in Unity Cemetery Perry Co.|
Hi - Thank you so much for publishing these photographs. Thanks to you I have just been able to confirm that my great, great grandparents were brought back to Clayton Township for burial after they died in Rushville in the 1870's.
You also have a photo of my great great great grandfather Isaac Sellars' gravestone from Unity Cemetary posted. Your photo was taken about thirty years after a photo we took before we left the midwest. In my photo the stone is flaked as well but the first line under the name was still legible. It says "died Feb 18, 1818"
He and Martha Rodman Sellars were the parents of the John Sellars who died in 1873.

This time I am wondering if you could transfer Elizabeth Ann Purcell to me. She would be a 1st cousin 3 times removed. I could add some info.
Thanks much (Old Stone Church)

Wonder if you would consider transfering Ann Grogan's memorial to me, she is a great great aunt. I could put in some data and links or send to you to update. Thanks much for all you do for Find a Grave. Ed
