Tom Durham
Dorotha F. Hills
Thanks to you, Rick, just this morning a friend of mine and I learned that Dorotha Hills had passed away back in 2003 and is buried in Flagler, Colorado. We both worked with Dorotha back in the seventies, in Boulder, Colorado, at Mountain Bell. She was in her mid-fifties at the time, I think, and a real 'live wire', as they say.

Dorotha had a story or joke for every situation and she constantly kept us in stitches. (Most of them aren't suitable for including in this email, unfortunately, but none of them were ever malicious or hurtful. Just funny.)

She was loved by everyone who worked with her because her attitude was contagious. Nothing ever got Dorotha down, no matter how strenuous or nerve-wracking it might be. She just kept right on joking and wise-cracking her way right through it which helped us all.

The world could use a lot more Dorotha Hills now. I just wanted to say she is missed, even after all these years, and certainly not forgotten.

Anna Neal
Rick,
Do you know anything more about Anna? What is her maiden name? You have her memorial page and headstone picture. Hope you can help.
I am looking for a Anna "Benda" Neal that lived in Delores, Colorado. That is all I know about the Anna I am looking for, at this time.
Thank you,
Wildrose

John Lisle
RE: Bronelle date
Rick,

I understand typos!

I am fine with you keeping the Bronelle memorial. I research the Stedman family, and Carl Bronelle married a Mary Alice Stedman (1874-1949) as his second wife, in the 1920s. I am not sure where Mary Alice is buried. I suspect that she is buried back in Nebraska. Since she married late in life, I doubt she had any children that I need to track!

Carl was born in Sweden and was living in Flagler at time of 1910 census. By 1920, he was divorced and living in Lincoln, Nebraska, and by 1930 was married to Mary Alice Stedman and still living in Lincoln. Mary Alice Stedman was born in Missouri and raised in Moorefield, Frontier County, Nebraska.

Glad I could help. Thanks,

john.
