First of all thank you for the incredible work you do it makes searches like mine so much easier.
My son in laws father was adopted they somehow knew his birth name was Harrison. He recently did ancestry DNA and matches this family line as close as a 3rd cousin, well several. His DNA ethnicitiy for Scandanavian is in the range of 27 to 49% which leads me to wonder if his father or grandfather was an adopted son through George's 2nd marriage with Charlotte Theresia Carlson.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this. You can reach me through here or on my facebook page athttps://www.facebook.com/karen.stevenson.96

|GeekyGraveGirl||I've got a duplicate of yours|
I have a duplicate of Fern Helen Smith Burnett in my care, which I have taken measures to delete. I have sent you all the information from mine to your edits, and added my grave photo from the duplicate. Find A Grave won't just let a person who inherited memorials delete them, but I have put in a request. She is in Sunset Cemetery, Manhattan. If you want her husband, Ora Dale, also, I'd be glad to transfer him to you.

|Stephen Payne||John Foote - Mount Hope Cemetery - Ticonderoga, NY|
You had a photo request in for John Foote. I had entered a list of burials for the Mount Hope Cemetery several years ago and have just finished the photography for the cemetery.
As it turns out, the list was done in 1921 or so...making it extremely out of date, obviously, but it was also filled with errors. The listing for John Foote read "died 1801 age 41" when in fact the stone reads that he was born in 1850 and died in 1891...they had misread the death date.
All this to say that this might not be the John Foote you were hoping it was. I have Footes on both sides of my family so I will try to do a litte research and post the appropriate connections.

This cemetery is enormous. There are about 21,000 burials here. If you look at the photos for this cemetery, there is a map and you will see names of different sections. Each section has upward of 400 plots in it. If you could get the name of the section it would help. I don't have a map of plots and when I go there the office is hardly ever open so I can't access the map inside the office. I will be going back now and then and if you call the office at 816-279-5005 and get a section name and post it with your request or on the memorial page, someone should have a better chance of finding the marker. Directions or a location within the section could help as well. The office personnel don't want a person like me asking for the locations of a whole bunch of people....they just don't have time for it all at once.
I hope this will help you find your loved one.

|Ann Harris Humble||Carrie Ethe Isaac Pottorf|
There is an indication that George Pottorf (1886-1973) was the spouse of Carrie. George Pottorf was my grandfather; he married my Grandmother Ethel R. Edwards during January 1917 and remained with her all of his life. At the time of that marriage Carrie was less than a year old.
George Pottorf is buried at Pleasant View Cemetery, Oskaloosa, Jefferson County, Kansas.

I have these two little boys in the same marker near Lobergs whom I presume are their paternal grandparents. Since you are related, do you know which of Emil's son may have been the father? Also, if you are interested in transferring the Sunset Lobergs, I'm fine with that. Thanks!

Hello Bob, wondering if you have crossed paths with any one recently researching "my" Sylvanus and Sophia Stoughtenger Casselman. I see them in the 1880 census in Marcellus, Cass Co, MI.
Also, the 1850 census in Lyme, Jefferson Co, NY on family number 189, p.26 is a Joseph and Julia Copelman b. 1812 and she b. 1817. Any one you recognize?
My Casselman was b. Jefferson Co, NY also. Thanks.
