Lone Tree Cemetery, Frontier County Nebraska
I have a big favor to ask of you, and that would be a large transfer. If you could please transfer the entire Gilliland family buried in Lone Tree cemetery to my account, it would be a great joy to me, and many generations to come, as I have a lot of information to add to each and every one of the memorials. My relation to them is through my grandmother, buried north of Curtis. William would have been her great-grandfather. If it makes if easier for you to transfer them to me I will list them and their memorial numbers here: Anna C DeWolf 12200197 Baby Son Gilliland 12212577 Katie Gilliland 12212581 Mary E Gilliland 12212590 RJ Gilliland 12200215 Silva May Gilliland 12212587 William J Gilliland 1220299 Please reply to me with any problems or concerns you have and I will try my best to resolve them.

RE: Bevier Cemetery
Not hard to make that mistake when a name changes or the sign is not there. I seem so remember a sign when I was a kid, someone put a new small sign at the turn in sometime this spring. Sometimes a local people may call a cemetery something different than the official name or sometime the name is changed. For example there is a cemetery south of Bevier that used to be known by some as the New Salem that is now called Union Cemetery on the official monument at the location.

RE: Bevier Cemetery
Asked the questions because you added the photos, so I thought you had been there. If it is next to the RV park, it is known as East Oakwood. Saint Charles (the Catholic cemetery) is immediately adjacent to it on the north. Across the highway are West Oakwood and Richards Dale

I transferred Paul Straight to you. I work for the Adair County Historical Society and we recently did the life story of Clara Straight and published it in our Centennial Magazine. We met with her several times and we heard about Paul and all her family. She is a delightful person. - Blytha Ellis

Just wanted to make sure this wasn't my great great great grandfather George W Jones. His wife is buried in this cemetery and her name is Jane B (Bailey) Jones 19132829. Also his daughter Melissa (Jones) Porter 19284631 is buried here. Could it be Geo W Jones? just checking. Thank you.

Asenath Walsworth Photos
Thank You for getting back to me so soon.!! I have been coming up against some conflicting information about when and where Lorenzo D. Walsworth died, and is buried, but you may be right, that he may not have a headstone for some strange reason, or is buried elsewhere?? Thanks again for your help!!

Walsworth Headstones Cambridge Nebraska
Hello, Thank You for posting the headstone pictures of Asenath Walsworth and her son, Henry J Walsworth in Cambridge Nebraska. She was my 3x Great Grandmother, and He was my 2x Great Grandfather. I am curious, did you photograph a grave for her husband L.D. or Lorenzo Dow Walsworth.?? I can't find out for sure where he is buried, but I'm guessing that he would have been buried with the rest of his family there.?? Any information would be helpful. Thank You again!! Scott. W.

RE: newspaper publications
Thank you so much for your reply. The information you shared is very helpful as I now have the names of four towns that might have covered some of the events in Red Willow County and Frontier County.

I'm from southeastern Iowa but if I can find the film, I can ask for an inter library loan. Better yet, it adds to my reason to go back west. Nebraska, Wyoming, Montana.

Thank you again for your time.

newspaper publications
Hello,
This is a little off subject but thought I would ask. You have taken some stone photos in the Indianola Cemetery in Red Willow County, Nebraska & Mount Zion Cemetery in Frontier County and I was wondering if you might know about newspaper publications from that area that might have done write-ups on the burials? (Early 1900's)

Thank you for your time.

I am a Vermont Civil War buff and am presently working on a project to identify the last resting place of some of our veterans that had Vermont ties. I am asking you if I may use the photo you contributed to Daniel V. Adams' memorial page, to have it posted on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org). You would receive credit for this.

Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for turning management of little Mabel's grave to me. I also found her father's obituary in the Bible and found that he was cremated so I was able to add a memorial for him with a link to his daughter.

It was kind of you to just transfer with no request, thank you.

RE: Suiter
Charles J Suiter #13036207 is related to me. He is my husband's great uncle. My husband's great-grandmother is Florence Suiter Manwaring. I am sure that the others buried at the SUITER headstone are Charles Suiter's wife & Children. I would gladly accept them as well. Francis Joseph Suiter #13036244, Mardichi Phillip Suiter #13036201, Mary F. Suiter #13036215, Myrtle Suiter #13036220. I could not tell from other Suiters in the same cemetery if they are related. I have a question about Mardichi's name. How did you locate the name since the gravestone says Mort? I ask because the name Mordecai runs through the Disney-Suiter family. Thanks. Barbara Wiley

Memorial #13017306
Hello Oldergraver,

First I would like to commend and thank you for all of the photos and other info you have added to this site over the years. I was wondering if you would please transfer memorial #13017306 to me as he was my grandfather. Unfortunately he died 10 years before I was born but I still visit his grave site every time I am back in that area visiting what family is left.

Thank you,
Bob Younger
