Philip Flagler
Thank you for the wonderful picture you posted on the # 34825228 Philip Flagler memorial. That person posted the wrong death date.
Your picture actually belongs on # 132894828. Could you possibly move it?
Thank you so much.

Flagler (Flügler) Cemetery
Thanks for taking the photo of the Flagler Cemetery memorial plaque. Zachariah Flagler (Flügler) was my 7thGGF. He actually arrived on 30 Jun 1710 (vice 1701 as indicated on the plaque). He was a passenger on the first ship load of those from the Palatine the British relocated to Colonial America.

Sister Ann Kennedy, O.P.
Hello Jeanne - Thank you so much for the photo of Sr. Ann's tombstone.

Sr. Ann Kennedy (formerly Sister Eileen) was my grandmother's cousin. She used to come to Chicago every year to visit, and because nuns could not travel alone in those days used to bring Sr. Ruth DePaul with her. My grandmother had wanted to be a nun (long story) but instead married my grandfather and had nine children, so Sister Eileen's visits were that much more special.

I remember Sr. Eileen's wonderful Irish wit, and she looked like an angel in those wonderful white habits they used to wear. She was extremely intelligent and taught for a while at Catholic University of America in Washington.

If I can help with anything in Chicago, don't hesitate to ask.

Hello Jeanne,

Thank you so very much for taking the time to seek the burial site of my great grandparents, Adam and Anna King and their son and daughter, John and Jeanette King, and for taking and uploading the photo of their marker.

Best,
Russ

August Matchekosky Gravestone picture
I got your message about a problem getting August Matchekosky's gravestone picture. I cemetery gave me the information about where he is buried. Are you saying that his name and dates are not etched on the gravestone? I am wondering if they didn't have the name and dates put on the headstone, but he is still buried there. Do you think this could be the case?
Thanks.

RDC of Fishkill photos taken
Thank you so much for taking the photos of the grave markers of "C C" (I was afraid that the poor little marker might be damaged or missing since the 2000 survey.); Catharyna Rombout (what a gorgeous memorial!); and the marker for little William Allen. It sounds like you got there just in time to get it recorded! I got a notice that the request was filled, but it hasn't yet been uploaded to William's memorial page. Let me know when you do! Again, thanks so much. I hope you and your camera didn't freeze to death, J

St John Cemetery - Queens
I viewed your profile page and am wondering if you are going to be going to St John Cemetery in Middle Village at all in the near future? I know that it is one of the cemeteries that you have posted photos from and I am trying to find a volunteer who could take pictures of a memorial that I have there. I am perfectly OK with no for an answer. Thanks in advance and thanks for all that you do to help find a grave. Gail

Thank you so very much for taking the photo and for looking for Matilda's headstone. I very much appreciate your kindness. I will investigate further and find out if Matilda is buried with William or somewhere else. The information came from a death certificate. I live in California and cannot say enough kind words to all the volunteers on Find A Grave. My whole family, including myself are all from the east and Midwest.
Very Sincerely,
Diane

Just curious as to why you added this photo. He is my 3rd Great-Grand-Uncle (not a close relative) and I thought maybe it was a request from some other relative. Dorcas was his wife and B. W (Burgess) his son. Both are buried there also.

Thanks, Bob
