RE: Burks genealogy
I would love to see if there is anything in the 1908-1909 Frankston paper about the deaths of William Henry Burks, 15 DEC 1908, and his father-in-law, William Bradley Morgan, or their families. Also, Wm Bradley Morgan's daughter, Ellen Holcomb, died in 1930 and is buried there in the City Cemetery. I don't have a date for when she died. Maybe the paper would have something. I just love old newspapers!

I just took over the FindaGrave memorial for Willam Bradley Morgan. He is listed in the Frankston City Cemetery. I don't know where he's buried in the Frankston City Cemetery, but if you're over that way I'd appreciate a headstone picture. I knew he died in Frankston, I just didn't know that he was buried at the City Cemetery.

This is really just a wish list. I live south of Fort Worth, in Burleson. Hope to get down that way in the next few months as the weather cools a bit.

Thanks for all the obits you post to the memorials! I really appreciate that!

RE: Burks genealogy
I am from the "other" Burks famly, I think, however, I also descend and work on the Wofford family history. I have family in Bullard and Whitehouse. I come through Frankston on my way to visit family. I'd love to check out those newspapers sometime.
Thanks for the reply,

Burks genealogy
I've worked on the Burks family history for years. I am related to the Burks in the Wofford and Frankston City Cemetery. Would love to exchange information.
