Was not a problem at all. The cemetery is only a street over from me. Glad I could help out.

RE: Katherine Geschwend
I'm afraid Katherine's was the only Geschwend grave marker I saw. I took a photo of the area around her marker and there were only a few markers near her's.
I will add the photo to findagrave so you can see for yourself what I mean.

Carol,

It's in the "Shiloh" volume in the "Voices of the Civil War" series by Time-Life Books. This volume came out in 1996. I believe Time-Life went out of the publishing business a while back. The series should still be available thru Amazon.com or maybe in used bookstores.

Regards,
Karl

You're welcome. I'm sorry I couldn't find it. As far as I could tell, there were no other Grims as well.

RE: George Shanders
Hi Carol:

Glad I could help. If you are every at this cemetery, stand in the gate go all the way to the other side next to the fence. It is a flat marker. Very easy to miss. If you need anything else just let me know.

RE: Archie and Rozeta Haggard
It's "funny" how names are spelled. My great grandma was Adeline but on her stone it is Adline and in other documents it's Adaline. I put all three spellings in my records.

N.G.'s transfer is done and I also sent along the two sons, figured they might as well stay in the family.

RE: Clara Ida Spurling Lutz
You are more than welcome, glad I could get them for but unfortunately the shading of the trees didn't do them justice. Got your other info. for N.G. and will be glad to add it or better yet, since I have no relative connections, would you like for me just to transfer his memorial to you so you can update it. Just let me know.

Frank and Charles Edwards
Thanks for posting the headstones for these two. I have added the note about Frank to his page. I have also linked Frank to his Father. Do you know if Phyliss Edwards is Charles's wife and if Holly Edwards is Franks wife?

Smith brothers, Guy and Howard
You have a photo of Guy Smith posted with the entry for his brother Howard Smith, and a photo of Howard Smith posted with the entry for Guy. Please switch the photos.

There are descendants of these gentlemen as well as relatives and friends in and around the town of Russell who will notice this error and undoubtedly want it corrected.

Guy and Howard Smith were longtime highly respected citizens of Russell.
