1830 Census Harlow B. Seager
In Cattaraugus County, NY in 1830 on page 242 there is a name that appears to be Harlow B. Seager. The name is not indexed that way at all, also on the page is a name that could also be Orestus or Orelus Seager. There is a mention in a county history that Clarinda Seager married John Towers. John Towers is listed next to Harlow B. Seager. I am trying to figure out if there is any possibility that Clarinda was related to Harlow. The census records say she was born about 1805 in NY. John Towers died before 1840, Clarinda married again to a man named Ketchum and had a child named George Ketchum about 1847. She shows up in Cattaraugus county until 1880. The history said she died in 1891.

Louis Reese
Kara,

I searched the lot where Louis Reese is buried. I don't know for sure if I found his headstone or not, but I may have. There is only one headstone on that lot and it is very difficult to make out what it says. It appears that the first name (maybe) starts with an L and that there is an E and an S in the last name about where it would be in Reese. It's so difficult to tell and I don't want to post it if it's not his. I've tried everything to try to get it to show but nothing seems to bring it out. If you want to try, I would be happy to send you the picture. I wasn't able to read it at the cemetery, so it's not just the picture. Let me know.

RE: Daniels Cemetery
Well it is located in Ottawa, Rutland Township, LaSalle County, IL. It is hard to find but has been cleaned up and has a lot of history! I was excited to visit it! I will try to get back out there this weekend and see if I can get another picture of the Shotwell headstone for you!

RE: Shotwell
I wish it was a better photo but I was just taking pictures and didn't even realize there was a request for it. When I go back I will try to get the rest of it. But it has fallen down. The cemetery is cleaned up and looking good now. I Thought that you had written the description of the cemetery and it said Turland township that's why I emailed you. Sorry about that!

RE: Shotwell
No problem! I wish it was a better picture. The headstone has fallen down and that was the only part I could read but if I go back I will take a picture of the whole thing anyway. The cemetery has really been cleaned up and trees cut down. It looks nice now. I am new to this site so I wasn't sure who wrote the description of the cemetery but it said Turland Township. Sorry I thought it was you. George Washington Spencer is actually related to me distantly so I have wanted to find the cemetery and went to ask my Dad's cousin how to get there. He is in his 90's now but used to maintain the cemetery.

RE: Robert Hodson
Thanks for your patience. I've been running a bit behind.

To create a hyperlink;

In the biography, you would need to type
< a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX">Name< /a>

Where XXXXXXX is, put the memorial number you want to link to. Where it says Name, replace Name with the name of the person you want to link to and this is what will show up on the screen as a link.

You must remove the space between < a at the beginning as well as the space between the < / at the end. The spaces were added here to actually allow you to see the code. Do not remove or replace anything else in the code or it won't work.

Example: (just copy this, add to his bio area and remove the spaces I listed and you should be good to go.
< a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=109618163">Robert Lynn (cenotaph) Hodson< /a>

If you have any other questions, please let me know. It can be tricky, the first time around.

Take care and keep up the great work!

Regards,
Vero DiSpirito

Hi Kara,
I will have to see what more I may have on Charles North. So it looks like your husband and I might be related thru the NORTH family line. We will need to continue this discussion off site.

Thanks so much! Most of my photos are from the Lesters (Electa's husband), but I have some I don't know who they are which I will be posting on Ancestry.com under Claude Lester (my grandfather).

HI Kara
I hope you are doing well.
I just ran across one of your tokens and wanted to say hi. If Elizabeth Lothrop Lothrop is your Grandmother, you are also related to my husband.
We may be sisters before we are done with this family history stuff.
I hope you and yours are doing GREAT.
HAVE FUN

RE: William Dusenbery
Thank you, Kara
I added the photo of a straight-on shot of the memorial taken in January 2013 by Beth Santore. It's just a little more legible. I didn't realize you had a complete transcription with your photo; wish findagrave had some way of showing a photo has a caption. If you don't care for this photo, please let me know and I will delete it. Thanks, Dianne
