RE: Walker cousins
Hi Nancy, thank you for your kind words. I dont think I'm related to any Walkers, at least not that I've found yet. I really enjoy researching. I try to find information to add to the bios of the memorials that I've added. There are many though that I have either just taken photos of headstones or found in old transcripts/Vital Records. Right now I am going back over some memorials that I added years ago from the Massachusetts Vital Records for the towns of Dracut and Lowell to see if I can find any more information to add to them. (or if I missed any that should be included on the website) Denise.

Nancy, btw, I gather you know some Hamelinks from western Michigan? I was scanning thru your list of photos uploaded and noticed John & Jane. When we moved here in '78 Jack & Jeannie Hamelink lived nextdoor. I'm not sure of any relationship but it seems more than a coincidence as they too were from the Holland area.

RE: WAlkers
Dear Nancy,
Forgive me for not pointing out the difference between the transcription on the page and my edited version. Robert Hunt Walker's middle name is spelled "Hunter" in the transcription. it does not appear to be spelled thus on the stone.
Thank You.

The birthplace of Inez Hatfield Walker was Warren County, Ohio. 'Warren, OH' becomes Warren, Trumbull Co., OH which is not correct.

Thanks for the heads up. I was given control of this family because I am a Shumway and researching the entire tree. Are you related in some way to this line. Could use your help if so. Denny

RE: Eva Haynes Walker
Hello,

The Maynard Historical Society has a bunch of online pages of people who are identified as or associated as "founders". The page for Eva can be found here...

http://web.maynard.ma.us/history/founders/p93.htm

I thought they had source footnotes on those pages but looking again I don't see any, at least on her page.

They seem to feel it has two LLs, so I sent the edit. However I have no vested interest, so go with which ever one you think is best. :)

Cheers,
Patrick

Hi Nancy
I know what you mean about the names being different, I love it when they go back and forth from their first name to the middle name. I connected Marietta to her father, and if you find where the mother is just let me know.
Thank you for the info.
