Laura Wright (Nolen) Moore was my maternal grandmother. She had three children: Illa Lorene (Moore) Cartmill b. 1930 d.2008; Gerald Foster Moore b. 1932 d. 2015; and Harold Lynn Moore, b. circa 1938, d. circa 1940. Harold Lynn died in a Ft. Smith hospital from overwhelming sepsis resulting from a "strep throat" infection before antibiotics were widely available. Will you please update Granny's 48055405 and Pa's 48055339 sites to include their oldest and youngest children?

Thank you,

Im sorry Mr. Lairamore. I incorrectly gave you the mothers middle name as "Lou" when it should be "Lilly". Her full name should be Maggie Lilly Phillips. I do not know yet her maiden name. Thank you, Sue K

RE: William Andrew Gibson III
That would be fine with me. I truly appreciate the time you took to reply. It's important to me that this is accurate and factual for the sake of genealogical reasons. As a Family Services Counselor for Dignity Memorial at Oaklawn Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL., I probably care more than most. But that's who we are, yes? Regards.

re: William Andrew Gibson, III
Hi, Ron--

As the first born son of William Andrew Gibson, III by his first wife and being the son who most resembles him, I am most disturbed that his Obituary, which excluded me, is what future generations will read when they subscribe to "Find A Grave" at Elmwood Cemetery. I'm happy to provide more information if necessary.

I'm also interested in knowing if his grave is marked. My grandfather, William Andrew Gibson, Jr., was the one who initiated the purchase of the plot that now host remains of the families Gibson, Burns, Cole, Caldwell and McCarty. My grandfather, "PeePaw," was a devoted family historian and made sure everybody had a space and could be interred together.

Apparently there is much to be done and would appreciate your help.

Many Thanks,

William Aaron Gibson-Evans
