I went to the Carp. cemetery to photograph the plot. I ran out of time looking for it. So if no one claims the photo I will return again soon to try to find it. In the meantime please use the site tombfinder and you will find Hutcheson plot photo on there. Thanks Chris

I have added the picture of the headstone on the correct Find-A-Grave memorial. There were two put in and the one you have picked was done two years after the original one was put in. I have sent a message to the maker of that memorial to please delete it. The original one is #14566962. Have a great day! Sorry for the confusion.

I had to go back and look at the spelling again on her spouse. I had it listed the other way. And could not figure out how I found the headstone. So I had to go back to her memorial information and found it again. Goodness Thanks for updating that so quickly. Otherwise I was looking at having to find the message I sent to you with the information.

Yes I sent you two updates. The first showing her parents and her 2nd Spouse. The other one with the link to her 1st spouse.

Her grave was pretty covered with dirt and grass. I cleaned it as best as possible but didn't bring the proper tools to do a better job.

Hi, Valerie! I'm the person who claimed your Rebhan requests for Bellevue Cemetery in Ontario, CA. I checked with the office, and neither Agatha or Nellie are interred there.

No, I am not.
While fulfilling your request for Casper I located Ruth and noticed that she did not have a memorial page. So, I created one.
I will gladly transfer the page to you.

I found her! She is right next to her daughter, Hettie. I went today at lunch time (I work in Redondo Beach). See memorial #101786811. I looked around for other Hugheses (in particular, Arthur) but he is not nearby.
Good luck in your detective work. I will transfer Laura to you so you can add things up when you are able.

Hi Valerie. I was at the cemetery office yesterday and they looked in the old carded system and did not find Lewis. They asked if I knew when he was supposed to make been buried and I gave them the information you gave me (Oct 6, 1934). They do have the record of his cremation, and I will quote their e-mail message to me this morning: "He was cremated on October 6th 1934 and the remains were delivered to Mrs. Nettie A. MacRae 1766 W 36th Street in Los Angeles." So it is unclear at this point whatever became of his ashes. I will keep trying, but I'm not sure if I will find anything. If Nettie (you have her as Nellie) is still alive, she may still have his ashes or else she had them scattered. If she has passed away, I would suggest that if you find her, you might find Lewis, as her family may have been instructed to bury his ashes with her.
PS - I suggest that at this time, you remove the photo request and change his burial location to "burial unknown" and put a note in the bio section that you are in the process of searching for the location.

|B.J. Waters||Lewis Balsley|
Hi Valerie. I will be the one to make the second attempt to get a headstone photo. I saw the "note" you left regarding the cemetery staff saying that Lewis was not buried there. This cemetery's records are computerized but they also look in the old cardex file as a cross-reference. So I will go in this week and ask.
As far as the death certificate, keep in mind that they are occasionally wrong. Sometimes family members make different arrangements after the death certificate is filled out by the attending physician. Sometimes when the family gets a total on what the cost will be, they change their minds and opt for cremation and scattering, or burial with a family member in another cemetery. There are at least two mortuaries that are owned by the same owners of Pacific Crest. I will do some research. Just let me know one thing: Does the death cert give the name of a mortuary, or just the cemetery? The mortuary's record will show a more exact "disposition of remains".

I just located your website while doing some research on Emly. Charles and Samie married two different women by the name of Mary. Charles David Emly married Mary Etta Reynolds in 1917 in Jackson Co. IN. They are living in Jackson Co. in 1920 and Marion Co. in 1930. Samie and Mary are living in Jennings Co. in 1930 and also in 1940. I also noticed that you copied my photo and added it to your website without my permission. In the future, I would appreciate it if you would ask first.
