Thanks for understanding and yes, some folks are missing what this whole site is about... Who cares about numbers!? These people are not a number and they all have family who love them and miss them. So sad this can even happen! You know if it was one of their direct family members they'd be on you like yesterday's news... I also find it amazingly funny that my "cousins" manage well over 1,000 memorials each... I guess it's true we are all actually related...

Ok. I'm making notes and hopefully I can make it back by there this weekend or early next week. Thanks for the info on transfers but I believe they are just not going to be helpful... But I'll give it time...

I'm sorry! I told you that there were more Bryant's in the Mooringsport Cemetery.... The other graves are in the Mooringsport Memorial Gardens Cemetery... I took a bunch of pictures yesterday and got confused. If you think they are related I'll gladly get the names for you.

Glad to help! Yes, the locals here call that the old cemetery.
I did see some other Bryant graves in the same area as the ones you were looking for so let me know if you need any of those pics as well. I'll have to go back and check the names if you like.

Ann, wow, I have corresponded with Theresa's mom, many, many times. I do know that her mother, Reba and she have done a lot of looking for Grandma Dona. And I really worried about Reba being out in the heat or cold. She is such a precious person. I would love to meet them one day, but if not down here, then we will be together in Heaven, for sure. Tell Theresa hello for me, and many thanks for all her searching!!! And tell Reba to email me. I have lost her email. I had a different email address back them. I will email you personally, with MY email address to give to Theresa and Reba. Thanks again!! All 3 of you are blessings to me!! My Angels on earth!

Ann, thank you so much, for keeping my grandmother in mind, while you are out looking. There would nothing to make me happier, than for Grandma Dona to be found. But, one thing for sure, when I get to Heaven, she will be there. Before my daddy died (her son), he pointed up and mouthed the word Mama. He was on life support and couldn't speak. But he also let us know that he saw Jesus! How blessed we were, to know that he saw this. I have a lot to look forward to, when I get to Heaven-----Jesus first, my parents second and Grandma Dona. Thank you for being so kind. I will email you personally, about my possible kin being buried in a cem. near you.
Thanks again, from the bottom of my heart. You are truly a blessing for others.

Unmarked graves
Hi Ann,
I got 'dowser' Julius Redmond to come over and check for unmarked burials in some VC cemeteries and he found two unmarked graves in VC #1 that may be your family.
One is an adult male between Willis & Catherine Broadus, the other is a Baby Girl by Franciso Juan, husband to Mary Broadus. They have to be Broadus kin, since they are in the Broadus plot/area,
don't you think.

I've added all the unmarked burials he found, with the hopes someone may help us find out about them.
Any ideas...

Yes, LaDell's memorial number is: 106902800

We have not had a tombstone placed yet, but plan to in the next few weeks. I will add a photo when we do.

Thanks for asking.

Frances Rebecca Bryant
Hello Ann, have not been on here for a while. Will share some info you might like to have. Frances Rebecca Cordelia (Fanny) Bryant Bryant, born 5 Dec 1874 died 19 Dec 1954 and is buried at Union Hill, Myrtle, Miss. So is her husband Thaddeus Sylvester Bryant (her cousin) and three of their ten children. She is in Find A Grave at Union Hill Cem. Perhaps you and Kathy G. and S. Meigs can connect these sites in Find A Grade. If you find her in, I have entered notes from my Gr Elgin's diaries --Ryan Bryant Roussel Harlan Tree. My grandmother was Olia Elgin Bryant Ryan. My mother was Gertrude Olia Ryan Downie. Would love to hear from you. Rosemary Downie Noel -house bound w sleet and snow in SW Missouri.
