Aaron Casey estate records
Dear Ms. Dihm,
You mentioned that you had estate papers of both Aaron and Mary Polly Wayne. I am trying to help their 6xs ggrandaughter get in the DAR. She has the papers saying Aaron served in the Revolutionary War in SC, but finding documents linking him to Polly has been difficult.
Do you have that linkage? If so, would you be willing to email me a copy?

Casey Request
If you notice by the number of requests still pending for over a year with this cemetery that unless there is a location, volunteers are unable to get information from the cemetery. This cemetery is very unfriendly to volunteers and without a location, we are unable to fulfill your request. There are over 80,000 burials at this cemetery. If you would call the cemetery, they will help relatives in ascertaining locations. If you get the location, you can either place it on the memorial through the edit function or message me directly. Their number is 714-633-1442.

Mabel and Henry Dihm
I would like to pick up your photo request but Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) does not like to provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. Your cooperation is needed in order for requests to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please add it to your request. Thanks.

RE: Rachel Dihm - Graceland Cemetery
You're welcome. I have found cemeteries to be very helpful with location information when I call, including several on Long Island. Mostly I have called for family folks. Good Luck, Bob

George W Snow
Hi Vonda,

I was hoping you might be able to create a findagrave for George W. Snow, son of Ebenezer and husband to Rebecca Beckham Snow. From the info I have read, his marker location is unknown but a site for him would be nice to link to his father's page #58611586.

Chet Snow has some great info on WikiTree that might be good to add for details about his life.

Thank you so much,

Tish Scott
granddaughter to Burl Levi Snow, great-granddaughter to Willis Green Snow, GGgranddaughter to George W. Snow.

Cora Culp
Hi Vonda,

My name is (Melody) Kay Wilburn Berg. I am the granddaughter of Cora Culp, daughter of Nathan Culp. My father was Cora's son, William Delbert Wilburn. I have a hand written letter from my dad about his heritage. He mentions that my great grandfather, German Wilburn was German and Irish and my great grandmother was English and Indian. He often referred to his Indian heritage. He used to tease my mom and me and say, "I'm going to divorce your mother, put you in an orphanage, the dog in the dog pound and go back to the reservation where they know how to treat a man." We affectionatly referred to him as Chief Sock in the Wash. I think he was very proud to be of Indian Heritage. Do you have anything to document that heritage Vonda? I would love to hear from you. I would be glad to send you a copy of this letter he wrote as well. I look forward to hearing from you or any of my long lost cousins.

RE: Casey Ancestry
I got your message about my parents memorial (Hampton). Do you have the memorial number? I tried to access it by my father's name, but it would not recognize it.

Hi Vonda,
It's nice to know that I have new relatives.
I am new to genealogy, so I have a lot of digging to do. I have a picture of my grandmother, Jencie and my grandfather, Henry if you would like me to send it to you. Just let me know.

Have a Blessed Day!

Jo Ann

Andrew Davis
I also have Davis lines in Newton County. Know there are 2 separate Davis families (not related). My grandmother was Lilie Louisa Davis Martin, who was the daughter of Daniel and Nancy Ann Crawshaw Davis.

Fixed it, no problem. My grandfather, Christopher Columbus Casey, had a brother named Francis Marion. They were sons of Uriah .
