Clark, Morris & Smith family links
Hi Linda, Thanks, so much, for adding the links to the families I requested. Yes, I have many St. Clair and Macomb Co families in my tree. It's always great to feel I've reconnected them to their loved ones. And, I realize it would never be possible without the efforts of those who have listed them on Find A Grave and are willing to make the links. Appreciate all your efforts. Donna

Gertrude Phillips Shook Fries (1849 - 1886)*
Sorry to bother you again but I see another problem with Gertrude Phillips Shook Fries (1849 - 1886)* # 117828305

If you look closely at her birth date on the tombstone picture, I think you can see the year is 1819, not 1849. And according to my records, Gertrude is the wife of Theron Shook and Theodorus' mother, not Theodorus' wife.

This matches with the 1850 census for Theron & Gertrude Shook at

And for Gertrude with Henry Fries, her second husband, in 1870 at

The text of the obituary for Henry Fries found at also corroborates these thoughts.

What do you think?

Mary Hannah Wilson Baker Lindner
I see you show this woman as a child of Joseph Baker, does it also show that Mary Ann Cockeram was the mother????

This is so confusing with both of Mary Ann's husbands with the surname of BAKER.
