RE: Gordon Smith
You're welcome! He's up very high, so I took a couple photos to ensure you could see him. A really peaceful spot! :)

RE: Old Plateau/Africa Town Cemetery
No help needed Claire. Just passed the cemetery the other day and looked it up to see if anyone had entered the memorials into find a grave. I saw that you had entered the cemetery itself but no memorials were documented. Just curious.

Old Plateau Cemetery
Claire, did you document the individual headstones in the Old Plateau/Africa Town cemetery? I don't see them, but noticed you entered the cemetery itself.
Thx

Thank you from Martha Hall's Family
Claire,
Thank you for filling my request for Martha Halls grave site photo so quickly. The photo's are perfect.
Her grand-daughter, my son's girlfriend, Martha's daughters and husband continue to live in nearby Ithaca NY. The distance has prevented them from visiting the grave. This has been particularly difficult as Mother's day approaches.
They are all grateful you provided them an opportunity to "visit" her on line.
Thank-you so very much.
Connie

I was wondering if I could use the photo you took of his grave in Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in my family tree (attributed to you of course). Thanks in advance!

Thanks for catching my oops. I do so many "spouses" that sometimes I automatically put the number in the spouse field.

Not my first mistake. Sadly, won't be my last one either.

I'm far from perfect. After all, I'm a man.

Cecil

Jane Yerger's Spouse
I got your message about the second spouse listed for Jane Yerger being inaccurate. You need to let the person who added that link know, since only that person can delete it.

RE: W C Allen in Springhill Methodist Church Cemetery
Thank you so much! The pictures will be a big help. I strongly suspect he is not the write W.C. Allen. There are lots of folks on Ancestry who have connected him to Ada's family. It takes time to get this all sorted out and every little bit of info helps. Thanks again!

Hi,

I wanted to thank you for taking the photo and so quickly. Having a photo adds creditability to the data in my Tree.

Question, did you happen to take photos of the other stones in the family plot?

Thank you again

Bill

Thanks again for the coordinates to Jernigan cemetery. Put us right there, but we couldn't see it as it's back off the road a ways. We talked to some real nice people in the area that led us to the present owner of the property. She took us to the cemetery where we visited for a while.

Thanks again,
R.A. Eddins

I zoomed in and saw that the inscription was just a poem. I cannot read the date of death, though. 1908, but I can't read the month or day. Also, she is my great great grandmother, but we don't know of her other children. Were there any other graves nearby that looked like they might be family? Thanks!!

Thank you for fulfilling my very old request for this headstone photo. If you ever go back out, I'd love to know what the inscription towards the bottom reads.

RE: Arnott Grave
That is comforting to know he had family. So sad when actually standing on his grave site, and lost to the world, so to speak.

Hi Clair - You (your husband?) posted a picture of Richard's Headstone from Jernigan Cemetery in Santa Rosa County Florida. I'm coming up empty on internet searches for Jernigan. Can you leave me some directions, or location.

I plan to visit the area to see other deceased relatives in the area and would like to visit Richard as well.

Thanks,
R.A. Eddins
