Helen, I noticed that you left a message on web page for the grave of David Miner Wallace, my grandfather. You said, "RIP Uncle Dave". Was he your uncle? If so, hello. I would love to know more.

Hello Joanie - Changes have been made to this memorial. You may be interested to learn that I have been in recent contact with another grandaughter of this man - Helen that used to live in Upper Lake. Email me for more info.

Hi, I went to the Herndon Copsy Pioneer Cemetery yesterday to get a photo for you. I am sorry to say that so many head stones have been destroyed, broken and moved. I was unable to find him, I'm sorry. If you google the cemetery their is a site that gives a lot of imformation that will help you understand what has happen. I did take photos but wheather your Charles Hand would be one I just don't know. I will down load them this evening and you can take a look. Brenda

Dear Joanie, Please check out my biography of Harvey Hand (Find A Grave # 17638918) and tell me what you think. I have been tracking down the 992 men who served in the 86th Illinois since 1985 and am trying to locate pictures and information about these men. Would love to hear from you. Baxter

Hi, Joanie...

You're quite welcome and thanks for taking the time to express your appreciation. It makes it all worth the work!

I'll try to get a marker photo for you this week!

Was Alice married to Thomas Edward?
