Hi Wayne,

I notice you requested a photo for Sylvis Long. He is my Grandfather. I do have a picture of this somewhere. Are you related to the Long's?

Infant Brian
Wayne, thanks for the heads up. I don't know how we both missed the duplication but it's happened to me before. I've sent a message to the creator of the original Find A Grave memorial and asked if she will copy my family links before I delete. I'll get this taken care of. Thanks, Tom

Edward Page.
I suspect that the Cemetery Hopper made an assumption about the cemetery's name despite the large sign displaying the name, Ireland. Maybe it wasn't there in 2007.

Town of Hartland Cemetery Index
The index was created by volunteers who read and recorded every headstone in Hartland and was compiled in 2004 by the Hartland Historical Society.

Cemeteries listed:
Black Stream Cemetery, AKA Coston Corner Cemetery
Jordan Cemetery, AKA Starbird Cemetery
Nevens Cemetery
Pine Grove Cemetery
Village Cemetery, AKA Ireland or Pleasant Street Cemetery

In the past, I have tried to have duplicate named cemeteries resolved by the powers that be with very limited luck. If you check other names in the "Hartland" cemetery, I am sure you will find a lot more "Duplicate," Ruth Page for instance.

Wayne - Janet and I have just received word that our fellow graver known as jrrmr910 has died. Her daughter sent a very nice note but only said her mother, Millie, died November 1. Do you know her last name? - would love to place flowers on her memorial. Thanks

BIO
Wayne:
I know I'm always a day late and a dollar short; but as was looking thru the sight I read your Bio and it is one of the most thoughtful, kindest, and caring I have read on here!

I'm like you; anything I put on here, everyone is welcome to! Think I'll go rewrite my Bio!

And thank you so much for Elma Hock Davis' Death Certificate! I never knew why she died so young!

You are a Great Asset to Find A Grave!!!

Fred Leroy James
Fred Leroy James was my grandfather, he married my grandmother Cora Belle Bacon before he married Wilma Hope Henegar. I would very much like to update his profile on Find A Grave & include his children & grandchildren by his first wife, Cora Belle Bacon. I would leave the second wife information alone. It is strange looking at this information as if my mother & grandmother never existed. Thank you for your time.

RE: Loice Elmer /Brian/
Wayne, I have quizzed the only 2 people who would have any knowledge concerning the birth/death of this baby. My mother (the baby's aunt), who is 85 and would have been 14 a the time, only remembers that the baby was a girl and was either born dead or died shortly after birth. The other person is the infant's older brother who only 3 at the time of her birth/death and doesn't remember anything. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help.

RE: Cappen memorials
No problem...don't like working with that cemetery, but I was out there looking for about 4 or 5 other graves anyway. They will charge a family member $25 to look up a grave location! Since I had a description of the location of this grave, I thought I would look for it.

Wayne, t

These two graves were not in Sec 17, but across the street in Sec 2. Sec 17 is the circular section surrounding the Praying Hands statue. Section 2 is just across the street and the two graves were a row inside the outside row....just FYI.

Burton Artie Rayburn
Thanks for the heads up on the duplicate post on Ruby Avis Rayburn (Williamson). I must have added it as a link to her husband, Burton A. Rayburn. I deleted my entry. You also sent me a "correction" for Burton Rayburn. You said he was born in Angelina Co. Tx and Died in Broaddus, San Augustine Co Tx. Actually I think it was the reverse. According to his death record he died in Lufkin and according to census records his family was living in San Aug. county between the 1910-1920. Thanks again for your hard work and I will gladly make corrections if you can provide me with the sources.
