|Jan Fenter||Louise Gatch, your marker photo request|
The permanent niche cover has replaced the temporary cover for Louise and Merle Gatch. I have placed the new photos on the memorial page for Merle. I was wondering if you want me to delete both photos I have on the niche for Louise and add the new ones, or if you would like me to keep the one with the temporary card and add the new ones that I have on Merle's memorial page?

|Jan Fenter||Louise Gatch, your marker photo request|
The niche cover for the remains of Louise and Merle Gatch is a temporary card on a blank niche cover. I took a photo of that card and will upload it now on the memorial page. The new cover is usually placed 6-8 weeks after the interment date, which was listed on the card as 10/18/13. I will check back, and when the new cover is placed, I will take a photo and upload it to the memorial.

|Christina Carlton||Morgan / Wood family|
Saw you had listings for the Morgan family in Portland.
Do you have any information on Thomas Morgan's daughter, Cleo Marie Morgan. I know she married Charles Kelsie Wood in 1944 and died in 1995, oregon.

|Debbie||Josephine Fogarty transfer|
Thanks so much for the transfer, Nicole! I do appreciate it. Yes, I have found the SSDI to be inaccurate. I appreciate the info, though!
RE: I have given her to you. Please keep in mind that the Social Security Index does not always give the proper location of death. It only gives addresses of where the person lived or received their checks. Please forgive me if you already knew that. Nicole

I have a photo of their grave; the grave, and the two names, separately. You don't need to make a request for (a photo of) her name as I will put the photo into hers, too. LS

I see that you have posted a picture of my mom and dad's grave up at Willamette National. Thank you for posting that, It is a much better picture than I have. I see in your profile that you only post informination on those related to you. I am wondering your relationship to Cliff and Eileen Piercey?

Hi Nicole!! Thanks so much for the transfer. I wouldn't dream of deleting the information you've submitted for him! Besides being a great help for people who are searching for family members this info represents so much work on your part and without your work I never would have had this memorial so it's a tribute to you, too... I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am for all you've done. I feel as though you've given me a huge present! Thank you so much!! Irene

|N.J "Joanna" Patterson||Eugenia Shepperd Morgan|
Eugenia's husband Charles died in 1888. There were three children. She remarried R.B. Humphreys in 1890 and had three more children...Oscar, Arthur and Myrtle. She divorced Mr. Humphreys (very rare in those days) but I don't know exactly when. She apparently took the Morgan name back, as it shows her on her last census record under the name of Morgan, and divorced.
That census record is the last thing I can find on her. I have tried to search for the Humphreys, but to no avail. I have seen a photo of "Aunt Myrtle" somewhere but there was no last name. Eugenia and Charles both have left no records. They have to be somewhere. The only thing I can think of is they could be buried in either Pleasant Hill or Locust Grove, but neither has a marker.

The newspapers for Wyoming are put onto microfilm and the library has those all the way back to the 1880s. You can go onto wyonewspapers.org for newspapers up to 1922. The newspapers are at the library for six months, I believe, before they put them on microfilm. You can e-mail the libraries and ask for the obituaries. Some of them might charge so ask up front what the fee is. I will get to the library this week and get the copies for you. Would you like me to e-mail you the image or mail you the copy of the obit?
