Thank-you for the follow-up and thank-you for the link to the Spanish-American War website. I never saw that one before.

You may be right but his PA Death Certificate states that he was buried in Mount Zion Methodist.

Hi John, I added the photo to Henry Parker's Mount Bethel Memorial. You may be interested to know that there are three headstone, adjacent, all members of Mass Co 54, buried in the Potter's Field at Mount Bethel. The other two are John Stotts and Stephen Burrell and I have made memorials for them. All the headstones are of the same design. Regards, Stephanie

John,

Thanks again for the transfer. I am sure that I found him in Co. I of the 50th PA Infantry. It appears that he died in a Chambersburg, PA hospital from typhoid. Here are the links: (I assume that you have Ancestry. I searched elsewhere and did not find a record of enlistment).

RE: Henry Hibshman
John,

Thank you for the transfer offer, I will accept. The soldier you found could be his brother W. H. Harrison Hibshman, Find A Grave Memorial# 125815959. I searched with the resources that I have on line and could not find anything specific. I will have to wait for the weather to clear and go to a library. The information uploaded to Henry's Memorial is from my cousin's family history book. I will send her a message about her source. Thank you for dedicating your time to Civil War re-enactment.--Rebecca #47746368

amazing! Well I was just on here trying to link my family members and I was asking if possible you could link him to his wife? I was trying to get my family on my mothers side linked together. But if you'd like I can get you confirmation. I know that it is documented on ancestry dot com...and then also... my other source is my grandmothers stories and pictures. :)

Re: William Strawbridge
Hi there... I have been doing some family history and found Williams page you have posted. I wanted to add that I have reason to believe that William (104797264)was married to Jane A. Jackson ...after he passed away, Jane (widowed) she remarried. Her name was then Jane Baker 58536200 . William and Jane had a daughter before his death. Her name is Katherine Strawbridge .. later adopted name change to Baker...then married name to Bickley. 58536830.

Katherine Strawbridge Baker Bickley is my great great grandmother. Her daughter is Loveda Bickley who's daughter is Doris Mantooth Fussell, who is my grandmother. So I guess that makes William my g-g-g-grandfather. Crazy~~~ Hope I got it right.

RE: James Steel
I do not have any knowledge of a James Steel whose life would have spanned the Civil War. The 3 Steel's that are listed as buried at Leverington do not connect to my family tree that I know of.

Thank-you for documenting our Civil War and Spanish American War veterans.

Have you ever done a re-enactment at Fort Mifflin? My sister and her husband both work there.
