Wilson D. Lett
Maybe you already know this, but I'm pretty sure that Wilson D. Lett (Find A Grave #19509667), who is buried with his wife and family in Grant Memorial Park at Marion IN is a son of Andrew Lett and Caty Crist. He married Mary Pfaff in Fulton Co. Ohio July 3, 1895. Previous and subsequent census record tracking appear to match ages for both.

Is Caty part of your line or your husbands? Caty's father was brother to my 3-greats grandfather, Peter W. Crist.

Hi Connie,
I noticed you posted photos of Fred E Fritz on find-a-grave (mem #96468305) I am wondering if you are related to the Fritz's from Edgerton. My great grandmother was a Fritz. If you are related, maybe we could share information. You may contact me through email if you prefer.
Thank you in advance for your time!
Have a blessed day!

Lilley family - Dakota IL
What a wonderful find! The memorials for George W. and Mary E. Lilley filled so many blanks in the family tree! Please tell me you are related, so that we can compare notes on this family.

Re memorial # 124102599: I just found the portrait you posted to Elizabeth's memorial! What a great find! May I ask if you are related? If not, where did you happen to come across the photo? Have you posted other related photos, of which I am unaware? Thank you very much for adding the photo--such a nice surprise!

Peter and George Himes
I am trying to prove that George Himes was the father of George. Do you know of any proof of that that would be acceptable for DAR? I am related to Peter through Hugh Chrisman and Cynthia Himes.

RE: Resthaven photos
I noticed that a lot of them weren't able to be found by the folks in the office...wonder where whomever created the memorials got their list showing them buried there. I may go back through the emails F.A.G. sent when they removed the requests to find the contributor who created them and see if they remember where they found the transcriptions.

That IS a big cemetery...my grandparents and a cousin are buried there, and every time I am in Arizona and stop to visit the graves I have to hunt for them again.

Resthaven photos
Hi Connie ~ If I haven't already sent you a thank you, here it is; thanks so much for finding and photographing these stones. So much history is being lost as stones deteriorate, so it's wonderful to have volunteers like you to document them. Thanks again! Robin

Resthaven photos
Hi Connie ~ just wanted to thank you for claiming a bunch of my photo requests for Resthaven Cemetery. I'm like you...love spending time in cemeteries, reading and photographing the stones; it's so peaceful and stress-free. Don't know if you noticed that the requests are all at the beginning of the alphabet; I just started going through the memorials and requesting photos for the ones that still do not have pics attached. They aren't related to me, but so much information gets lost through the years that I think it's important to get it documented before the stone starts to deteriorate. There are so many in Michigan that are fairly recent, yet already illegible due to the weather. Anyway, I thought that, if I can't take the photos, at least I can go through and make the requests so that fellow headstone photographers know what to look for. Thanks again for claiming them, and for all of your time and work...you may never know how much it is appreciated. Robin

Sarah Brannan
You have Sarah Brannan linked to Nancy Brannan as she was the daughter of C and Nancy Brannan. She was most likely the Daughter of Christopher and Nancy Brannan. Christopher was a son of John J and Nancy Brannan which Nancy died in 1854 as shown on the headstone. This is apparent when one sees that Nancy died in 1854 and Sarah in 1863 at the age of 6--9 years after the Nancy Brannan you have her attached to. Nancy, the wife of Christopher and potentially the mother of Sarah maiden name was McCauley. I do not know for sure that Sarah is her daughter either as I have Sarah born in 1848 and died before 1860. There were a lot of Nancy Brannans around.

RE: Michael Thomas
Hi Connie,

I received a message from you concerning Michael Thomas in Williams Co., OH about a partial death notice for Michael. The partial death notice was not part of the message. If you want to try and resend it, I'll add it for you.
I hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas. Take care,

Neil
