You sent me a message regarding date(s) on the memorial stone but I don't understand the question. I lived in Yorktown recently for the past six years and visited his grave, my 5th great grandfather, for decades. Please restate your though or question. I do the best I can to answer. You might use my email address to better communicate. Thanks

I thank you so very much for checking. I appreciate it so very much.

The information is from this book.

Lives of Christian Ministers: Over Two Hundred Memoirs
By Peter Jefferson Kernodle

"In 1856 he was residing in Suffolk, VA, and resided on the corner of Cemetery and Kilby (Washington Streets) in a house built by contributions from the people of the town. He was buried at Bethlehem. In 1858 Rev. W.B. Wellons and E.W. Beale were appointed a committee to collect money with which to erect a monument to his memory."

Thank you so very much.

Here is the link to the memorial.

It won't let me delete the cemetery picture since it isn't mine, and it won't let me upload any more.

This is my great-grandfather. It was brought to my attention that there is no photo of his marker on it, and another user suggested that I remove the cemetery photo. The website isn't giving me the option to remove the photo, probably because it is yours.

Would you please consider removing it so I can upload a photo of the marker? I would appreciate it.

Regards,

Keith Dover

After I left you a message I saw a recent obit that mentioned a funeral home. They were able to give me the address.

38 Pine Grove Rd
Sumerco WV (SOD)

It is next to Pine Grove Baptist Church. Going to add this information to the find a grave site.

Thank you much for answering

Susan

I noticed that you said you have visited this cemetery. My gr grandfather is buried there. Would you mind giving me the GPS coordinates or directions to this cemetery.

There are no directions on the find a grave page. Your message seems to indicate you have walked it.

My gr grandfather's name is Gallas Karl. He was buried there in March of 1896.

Do you know if there is a cemetery association or a church or the county responsible for this cemetery.

Thank you for your time and support of find a grave.

I am not related my husband is. Louis Wanger Gellermann is married to Mildred Harriet Wright (3 cousin 2x removed of my husband. I live in Astoria ORE, and I have family up there in Seattle, WA. I have done a lot of research and checked it twice I really like when its truthful. So I try to make sure all the research checks out. I hope it has helped. Have a happy New Year.

Bartlett, Potter, Taft Decendant
Thanks for the excellent photo
Dear Thomas,

Thank you for the excellent photo you took in Dec. 2015 showing the relative location of the Bartlett graves in the cemetery. That was very kind and clever of you to add the text showing all the graves in row with the notations of which Bartlett was in which grave.

You are very generous in your contributions.

With great appreciation from a Stephen Bartlett descendent,

Janine

Farrar and related families
Thank you for your note.
We keep spaces available for additional family portraits and documents as those portraits become available to post. We contact photographers as soon as photos are posted if we need to. Our efforts to keep the number of gravestone photos to a minimum is to allow us to post further photos and documents without having to contact photographers, Find a Grave, etc. in the future. We cannot predict when we will have new family portraiture available, we can only say that we desire to keep the gravestone photos at a minimum at this time. When we have the new info to post, we prefer to not have to deal with photographer now not a member and write letters to Find a Grave, etc. It will get complicated. this way, we are very clear about what we are specifically looking for in grave photos and postings. I hope that you understand. Our family does thousands of family memorials and know what we are looking for. A unique situation. I hope that you understand. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Dora Farrar Richardson
Thank you very much for taking the clear photographs of the Richardson family stone. Your clear photos helped me to see that the birth information on Dora was reported in conflicting info on memorial. I wrote to the creator of the memorial suggesting an edit. I wonder if you would please delete one of the two photos of the multiple names photo that you posted. I am sincerely hoping we can get a portrait or two to add to the memorial and need open spaces to post those photos, without paying a sponsorship fee. If you would please consider this, at your convenience, it would be appreciated. Best wishes for a happy new year.
