RE: Mary Eads
You're welcome.
I wanted to contact the creator of the memorial to have it moved to the correct location but could not contact KL to move it. I hope my comment on the photo helps anyone who might want to visit her grave.

RE: William Hodge Edwards
Well, he apparently died in 1871, way too early for a death certificate in the state of Tennessee, and I see no photos of headstones. I also did not come up with any kind of obit. I see you have added other Edwardses to Hunt Cemetery, so you probably have an interest in the family. Unfortunately the earlier one takes precedence. You could ask ~B~ if they aren't related, if you could have him transferred to you, then you will need to delete the dup. Sorry I couldn't help more. ranny

RE: The Sherman Directories
What is posted is all there is for Samuel. It is only Sherman so unless a Sherman married a Sherman there is no reference to the wife except for the marriage if known.
Emily's record gives no more information
George's record gives no more information
Samuel's record gives no more information
Hiram's record gives no more information
Mary's record gives no more information
Benjamin's record gives no more information
Richard's record gives no more information
Martha's record gives no more information
Adelia's record gives no more information

This four volume set is almost 3,000 pages. It was loving put together by John H. Sherman and printed in 1991

Sorry there wasn't any additional tidbits for you. Not all Sherman's are listed, some of my own family are not mentioned in the books. Seems the west coast Sherman's or ones that came west are a little more sparse then others.
