I apologize but I just sent an edit to you by mistake. It was to remove a duplicate photo but I just realize you didn't do the photo.

SHH Haynes was my great great grand uncle. His full name was Samuel Henry Harrison Haynes, and he was the son of John Jason Haynes and Nancy Elizabeth McKnight. He was born 29 Oct 1841 in Lineville, Talladega, Alabama. He was the brother of Lt. John Lumpkin Haynes of the Immortal 600 CSA.
His family tree can be viewed at https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/cherokeevanns/conversations/topics/1467.
Thank you for recording his burial.

James Ian MacPherson USN
PLEASE HELP!
Am looking for information about James Ian MacPherson, who commanded, at least, two ships during WW II, including the USS Sarasota (APA-204), which was involved in 2 major invasions/battles - Luzon and Okinawa?
If so, i would appreciate more info on him. Am making a special memorial profile to honor his service. Any photos would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Photo Request
I have requested Find A Grave Photos for Arlington National and you have been very kind to respond to my requests. One request which you fulfilled was for:

Roxanna Lee Kendrick Proctor
Plot: 5-X-8-1
Find A Grave Memorial# 24398178

She is the wife of:

Charles Rudicel Proctor
Plot: Section 5-X Row 8 Site 1
Find A Grave Memorial# 85636043

and they are the parents of:

Ashley Victoria Proctor
Plot: Section 5-X Row 8 Site 1
Find A Grave Memorial# 84710053

I have tried to make a photo request for Charles and Daughter Ashley; however, Find A Grave will not accept the request due to a photo of the Cemetery already posted on their memorials.

Thus I am making a direct request to you, to see if you continue to do photo requests, and if so, would you add the names of Charles and Ashley to your work in adding photos to Find A Grave.

Thank you for the photos you have provided for my personal non-profit website, and more importantly, the work you are doing for so many on Find A Grave.

Respectfully,

G.T. (Joe) Proctor

Mr. Tyler:

Thank you very much for transferring my Great, Great Uncle to me. For years, the family wondered where he was.

I have heard they are going to open this cemetery briefly. If you have a chance I hope you are able to attend. Someday I hope that I am able to get into the cemetery. We live in Burleson, Texas and cannot be there this time.

Thanks again.

Fair family
Hi Ted,

I live in Arlington, but am not a member of the Fair family and don't have any more information than I have posted here. I ran across this info in a roundabout way because I'm very interested in local history and am researching Arlington and Falls Church people. The tragedy of the Putnam family (see Silas W. Putnam on Find-a-Grave), which led to the murder of Emily Fair Beavers in 1907, was one of the subjects I have been studying. That led to the Fair family as a whole. Very interesting! I used the websites chroniclingamerica.com (free) and newspaperarchive.com (paid membership) quite a bit in this project; they may be useful to you as well.

If you take any photos this weekend while you are visiting the Fair cemetery, please post them. I am wondering whether any of the fieldstones are marked.

Best,
Heidi
