Jill (Wymore) Bloss
Mabury family
Hi Erika,
I descend from James Bailey Mabury (#17224958)and May Smith through their son Arthur Wilford Mabury #29019981. I noticed that you have a lot of my family connected to your profile. I'm not sure if you are related, but each year we have a Mabury Family Reunion on the second Saturday of July at Sam A. Baker State Park in Patterson, MO (Shelter House #1) for the descendants of James Bailey and May Mabury. This year it is on July 12th if you are interested.

Lucinda Deatherage Matheny
Lucinda's father was my 6th grandfather. Abner
was married twice, I am sure Elizabeth Morrison
is not mother of Lucinda. Her 1st name could have
been Elizabeth, but last was not Morrison. I am
looking for an off-spring of John English D.
Matheny. I am thinking Lucinda named him after
her mother. Her name may have been Elizabeth
English Deatherage. my email is earldeatherage@

Re: Alice Mayberry
Hello Erika,
Just wanted to let you know that I had requested pics of Alice's headstone a few weeks ago and they were fulfilled today. These pics add just a personal touch to a family members memorial. You had created this memorial and I wanted you to know that it now has pics.

Thank you so much for the photo! Did you photograph her husbands marker to? I haven't created a memorial for him because I don't know his details, DOB & DOD. This is my great aunt and uncle.

John Mayberry
Thank you for linking John's memorial to his parents. I climbed a Tennessee mountain in 1996 to find his parents' graves. He is important to both the Mayberry and Gentry families of Jackson County. I appreciate it!

Dixon In Dixie
Jesse Mabury Family Cem.
Hi Erica, I know this gets real confusing but there are many variations of the name Mayberry/Mabry/Mabury etc. and even more cemeteries with those same variations. These folks are with the Mabury spelling. Jesse M., Matilda, William J., Sophia B., and 2 infants are all buried in this cemetery and are all that remain. The old log house has been taken down. I know you're not responsible to for the lumping of so many into one cem. but I found your name on a few and was hoping you could help get those sorted into the right places. I created the above named cem. to have the correct one listed to move them to. I've only listed the 2 infants since the others already have memorials and just need to be shifted to the right cem. I hope this makes sense! I re-added their son John Peyton (John P. Mabury Family Cem.) not realizing he was added already since it didn't pop up with the right spelling or right cem. and am not sure how to get these straightened out.

Duplicate Memorials
Yes, I know - I've tried reasoning with him, but it doesn't work. When I finish linking in a cemetery, I ask the Edit dept to consolidate where they can. wish I could do more, but it's a losing battle.

Otha Mabry at Resthaven
Regarding your photo request at Resthaven in Lubbock, please call 806-791-6200 and request the plot location (Section, Lot, Space). Then have the owner of the memorial page enter the plot info. This is an enormous cemetery and too big to walk. Thank you!

Jemima Loftis Mabury
I appreciate your linking the grave of Jemima Loftis Mabury to those of her parents. As you know, the spelling of the Mayberry name makes it very difficult to find their graves. I appreciate your posting her memorial so that I could come along behind you and find her. Thank you!
