The pic you have as Thomas and Molly Nichols...well that pic is actually Thomas and Dora Nichols' wedding picture. My grandma had the original hanging in her house...whatever happened to it i have no idea. I remember that pic from her house in Texas. My mom remembers it as a kid as being her grandparents. That pic was taken in 1891 in Iola Ks

I have a David Ralston who lived ~1807~1850. He disappeared between 1851-1857, the latter date being when his wife died as a widow. The other 2 David's in my family are well documented, one of them living.
However, I started a Ralston research group on Facebook over a year ago and there's 94 of us. I can always pass the information along to see if anyone else can match it.

No need. I am not related to Rufus. I did the memorial for his grandson in the DeWitt cemetery a few years back.
I was updating it last night with his obit and checked on the grandparents mentioned in the obit and found Rufus' obituary.
I am only related to the Lockharts who are buried in the DeWitt Cemetery. I created their memorials when I was first starting my family tree and then stopped by and took the photos to add to my family tree and the memorials back in 2011 after a family trip to Bentonville, Arkansas.
While at DeWitt, I took some additional photos and then checked to see if they had memorials or not.
I would have done much more but it was a really hot day in June and my young boys were getting too impatient sitting and waiting in the car with the windows down, so I didn't do the whole cemetery as I would have liked. I am glad that you and others did.
BTW, the best source of info for that area is the main library at Iola. I stopped there in June on the way back from doing genealogical research in Ohio.

Thank you for all your hard work!
I have gggg grandparents missing somewhere in western Ohio that haven't been found yet. It is the work of findagrave detectives like you that will
I agree about the obits. But until recently, they aren't always easy to find.
I have been using Newspapers.com lately to work my genealogy and will also use it to research my memorials too. If I find an obituary for someone else not on my list like Rufus, I will quickly check and see if I can find their memorial and then will add it as an edit.
I appreciate you getting to it quickly. I have about 8 edits now that are pending for my cousins.

Honestly I do not remember how or when I inherited the memorial. He apparently is a distant distant relation or shirt tail kin at best. I have or had relatives in the area in the early 20th century.
Sorry I could not be of more help.

The website is sos.mo.gov, you need to access records & archives area and try different combinations of surname in advanced search option, hope this helps.

Sorry I can't answer your questions. I didn't add the name of Donald Harry Raymond as a husband. Must have been linked from the memorial of Donald. Also don't know Julian.

Thank you Evelyn for all the Edits you have done for this family. I just try to link family members. Some of these gravesites look so lonely without a bit of information or Link to another family member. Best Wishes for the upcoming holiday season.

Hi again Evy,
Earlier, you indicated you'd be willing to transfer management of Electa and James L. Burrows (113405265 & 127139082) to me. I'd love it if you would! I am convinced now (with all the evidence I've seen, and with what I previously heard from relatives)...that it is very likely, that these two are children of Steven Douglas, and Emeline C. Burrows. I can't thank you enough...for providing the pictures and information. You've got my heart rate up...and I'm excited to jump into my ancestry again! Thanks again for your work!

|Dunwandrin 1||RE: Stephen Burrows' Family|
Sorry for my delay in reply: I'm a little unclear if your question regarding "a son and daughter, Electa and James L." Are you asking if Electa and James L. are children of Steven Douglas & Electa (Devol) Burrows? IF so....I've done a lot of research on Steven Douglas and his wife Electa.....and I have no record of them having a child named Electa, or James L. They DID have a number of children (11 for certain), and I've pretty much documented their names. However.....one really never knows I guess! :-)
