Do you know the relationship of Homer Hays (lived on Spruce Run (near Garfield & Wolfesville) and Cyrus Hayes (lived on Middle Creek in the same general area - perhaps three miles apart)

This would be in the 1930s - 50s,

Many Thanks,

RE: Mary Magdalene Haller
If I get the info off the stone, I may read it incorrectly. If I get it from the database, it may still be an error. And the Stone books have a lot of errors I am told. So I guess the only way to know for sure is if you find a document showing a person's birth. I didn't save my notes (I've already shredded them), but I can look her up again in the cemetery database and let you know what is written there. I did note that her name is Magdaline not Magdalene, but there, too, names often have a few different spellings for the same person.

Walter and Helen Kelly
I see that you left a 'candle' on the memorial pages for Walter and Helen Kelly. Are you a relative? I was led to their pages while following a popcorn trail in an attempt to fill in some big gaps in my tree. If you have info that you'd be willing to share, can you please email me at:

Memorial# 11599179 question
Did you see the actual transcript for the info submitted? If so, could you provide to me.

I would truly appreciate it. This small bit of info will provide a major piece to my family puzzle.

Weller/Blue Ridge cemeteries
You seem to feel very strongly about these two cemeteries, and I am not sure why you object to the issues being sorted out.

I can tell you that I was at the Weller cemetery, where I took the photo of the Brown family's headstone. They are buried in my family's plot, the location of which I determined when I looked at the map in the church office.
