OK, thanks for clarifying that.
That Gravesite Locator is a really good web site and very helpful. Sometimes if you find an obit that says someone is buried in Will Nat Cem you can check the Gravesite Locator site to make sure they are there and just exactly where they are in the cemetery.
Or, if you think someone is buried in Portland somewhere and can't find them sometimes you will find them in that Gravesite Locator.

OK, I fixed it. Thanks for pointing the problem out.
I am not sure what you meant though in your one remark. Did you mean you found this in the Nationwide Gravesite Locator, or were you asking- how to find the Nationwide Gravesite Locator?

Jan, if it's okay with you I would like to post this photo I have of Keith. You would know if it's the correct family or not. You can delete it if it's not correct, etc. But I will wait for you to give me the go ahead. Then you can say yea or nay to the ID being correct. Thank you.

There is no record in the office at EP National Cemetery of Viola's internment. I would gladly have taken a photo of her memorial, but she must have been buried elsewhere. I just wanted to let you know in case you want to do more searching for her resting place.

Jan, I wonder if you can transfer Memorial #71003656, Dalene Illig to me. She is my mother. Thank you for creating her memorial, I was just feeling strong enough emotionally to do it myself.

|Betty Wilson||RE: MIL|
If she told you the story, would you be willing to give an affidavit? If so, I'll check with the DAR genealogist and see if that will suffice.

Jan, is MIL your mother-in-law? Is she living and would she be willing to give an affidavit. We would gladly pay the notary fee. This would get some of the Bakers in the descendants on the Daughters of the American Revolution database.

Jan, what does MIL mean? Would you be willing to do an affidavit that you had spoken with the Baker son?

Jan, you have a note that says:
NOTE: Walter Baker was married to Ardella "Maude" Pritchett in about 1907. They had five sons before her death at the age of 37 on 31 Dec 1924 at the Oregon State Tuberculosis Hospital in Salem. The younger boys were informally adopted out and the older ones stayed with their father. Walter Baker never remarried.
Can you tell me how you know that the younger sons were adopted out informally. I am helping a lady with her DAR application and this information is crucial.
