RE: Mary Ann Pagett Rhoades
Thank you so very much. My Henry Rhodes (1773-1851) probably attended the Rehoboth church in the 1820-30 era, though none of the family was buried there.
In the 1882 Montgomery Co. history on p. 21, Washington Twp., there is a paragraph on early Methodist Episcopical churches reading, "The next church put up was a log building on land donated by Mathias Pearson, about three miles south of Centerville, on the present Dayton & Lebanon pike. The date given to this church is 1813 or 1814, and the appointment was called Rehobeth. There was a good congregation here for those days, and among the members we note the following: Mathias Pearson, John Roberts, Thomas Swift, -------- Rhodes, -------- Conley. The old log building was used for several years, when it was torn down and a neat brick church erected in its stead. This church was continued to within a few years, when it shared the same fate as its more humble predecessor. At present, there is no building on the lot."

Mary Ann Pagett Rhoades
Been hunting for her for a long time as she married a John Rhoades in 1839, and I am a 20+ researcher in the Rhodes/Rhoades/Rhoads family that came to Montgomery Co., IN 1810. Other than the marriage to John Robert Rhoades, do you have any more info on him?

Hello Jenepher!
I noticed that you have photo requests for Thomas Boren and Stephen Conkle. I wondered if you had some kind of connection to either of them. Stephen Conkle is my GGGgrandfather and Thomas Boren may be my illegitimate great grandfather. I may be able to get pictures of both of these graves for you.

RE: John Beverly Wood
Thanks for replying to my email. This is the first time I have done this so I'm afraid I'm not sure what you mean by transferring them to me. If it is possible just to correct the info that would be great. I know you must spend mega hours on all of this and it's such a wonderful gift for all of us who are searching for our ancestors. Just let me know. Thanks again!

John Beverly Wood
So glad you are also interested in John Beverly Wood and his wife Lucinda A. Wood.
I am their great-granddaughter and the granddaughter of his son Charles Edward Green Wood and his wife, Sarah Nineveh Salmons Wood. The picture that is posted is one of John Beverly Wood's tombstone and Sarah Nineveh Salmons Wood tombstone. I have Charles Edward Green Wood and Sarah Nineveh Wood's family Bible and in it is listed John Beverly and Sarah Nineveh Salmons Wood along with their dates of birth and death. Also along with Charles Edward Green Wood and Sarah Nineveh Salmons Wood's dates of births and deaths are listed all 12 of their children who survived to adulthood.
Would appreciate if these corrections could be made and would enjoy hearing from you.
Nancy Arnold

John Adams cemetery, Patrick Cty VA
Hi Jenepher,

I noticed you are the contributor for the John Adams Cemetery in Patrick Springs, VA. Do you happen to know about the flat stone that says Native Americans on it and the numbers 1,2,3,4 in that cemetery?

Thank you
My name is Teresa Vest and one of my FB friends on a page for Native Americans visited it and wax asking? I actually live in the next county of Floyd.

RE: Solomon & Benjamin Wood
Yes, distant cousins. Did I put that Rachel was his wife? If so, I must have been looking at the wrong thing. No, I do have that Martha Thompson was his wife in my on line tree. Rachel Shinn was his mother and William Wood his father. Sorry I made a mistake, sometimes work on this too late at night and get bleary! Elaine

New Calvary and Fettngs.
Searched entire section-no stone. The stones are poorly marked and lots of empty plots. If you call the cemetery to provide names of headstones on both sides of Fettigs, I can return and photo the empty space-if you would like.

Photo request
Hello Jenepher:
You have a photo request for Alonzo Thomas,
Manomet Cemetery, Plymouth, MA #66274193.
I have searched the cemetery several times
and did not find a gravestone for Alonzo.
The town of Plymouth does not list him on
their burial record search as being buried
in any of the cemeteries in Plymouth.
Do you have any further information? There
are also photo requests for his parents
Henry and Flora, they are also not found or
listed on the burial record search.
I'd like to help you out with a photo if
I can.

If you're on agreement that we have this figured out, I think it would be fine if you deleted the Beulah acct.

Thanks! :-)

Eulah/Beulah Belcher
Hi Jenepher,

I have been photographing/recording in Sycamore Baptist Church cemetery lately, and have just about finished. I was going over their F.A.G page to see if anyone was still lacking a pic, and came across this memorial you made for Beulah May Conner Belcher # 53735057. I looked all over for her today, and came across this Eulah C Belcher # 60620878. I think they are the same person? I think someone made a new memorial after her stone was erected.

If only I could read the dates on the pic you have posted of her! You wouldn't still have those, would you?

Do you have any thoughts on this?

RE: Heste Belleville Slater
Hi Cousin - First who do you come down from. No I don't have Hester parents, as I come down from the Slaters on my Grandmothers side. But, it is possible as soon as I get to Illinois (Now is Vegas for the Winter - be back sometime after Easter) have another relative that did trace back the Slaters to Penn., and he really did a good job on the principle person and family. Will let you know.

Jenepher, my name is Ralph Davis and Hester is my G-G-G Grandmother. As you entered the memorial, and I do not want a transfer, but rather, want to know if you know if she has a headstone. Thank you so much for entering her memorial. I am sure but cannot prove it, but her husband William is also probably there. Again thanks.

RE: Kreter
I don't remember for sure which information I gave you. But, if it has to do with the middle name, it came from several online trees on However, I am going to back track on putting that info on FindAGrave, because when I went back to look at those other persons trees, none of them had any sources that specifically referred to that middle name, so I removed it from my tree. If there was other information that I gave you, you may need to refresh my memory, but all of my information generally comes from documents on I genereally, as I did with the middle name issue above check things out before changing them in my tree. So, if you can remind me what other info I might have given you that would help me. I put several edits in on the same day. I normally don't do that unless I'm sure about the info. That's one reason I went back to check on that Middle name thing. So, for now at least I would not include a middle name for Mr. Creater/Creter/Kretor/Kreter. If that helps. I wish I could remember the other info I gave you, but I don't. Sorry.
