Hello Cousin
I have added your input to Mary Highfield Miller's page. Your information makes sense in alignment with My Miller members. I have checked the info in my local library that contains the info on Rev. Miller's family. Many of his descendants were active in my town's local history of Springfield, Ohio. I did not discover all of this info until my mother was taken with Dememtia and all its woes, and was not able to add anything. Luckily, she had family Bible records from her Father's mother. I thank you for your valuable input to our family history. Members now connected, with much glee.

Hi Jill could you please send me the Memorial # for the ones you would like me to delete. I do not remember which ones I transferred to you and it would take me for ever to go there all the ones I have. Thanks Kathy M

Frank and Margaret Richter Correctioins
Regarding Margaret Richter:
1. I have Cummingham as her maiden name.
2. Your Maria "Mary" Ann Richter is someone else.
Regarding Frank Richter:
1. Your statement of salary is not relevant.
2. I have seen the actual death record on file in Minnesota. Death records are only usually accurate for date and place of death.
Therefore no changes need to be made.

Brenda L Aguel
Memorial # 120328444
Hi Jill, my husband and I were researching our families ancestry and happen to run into this website. There is a lot of information missing that my husband would like to share.

After his divorce from Irma, he legally married Alba M. Castillo (born 1947) from Managua, Nicaragua. They met and were married in Los Angeles, Ca. Their union lasted about 35 years until his death in 2006. Together they raised a son, Vicente Aguel ( born 1979 in Los Angeles, Ca).During their years together Jorge and Alba worked hard to establish stability and security for their family. They owned a company that bought sold heavy equipment internationally. They where very hands on. They personally delivered the equipment to different countries. The delivery would usually consist of driving from the US all through Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador to Nicaragua. They would be in the road for weeks at a time. This lucrative venture went on for many years until the communist took over Nicaragua. With Their profits, they decided to venture in a new business and opened various restaurants/bakeries named " La Adelita". La Adelita gained a strong following and became a landmark in LA. During their marriage they also had large holdings in commercial property and residential property. After his passing in 2006 Jorge and Alba's only son, Vicente Aguel, an award winning equestrian, manages all of their holdings in commercial and residential properties. Vicente Aguel married Brenda L Meza (Brenda L Aguel born in Los Angeles, Ca) A licensed clinical mental health therapist. They decided to continue growing the family business and now focus their time on their commercial property holdings. With Vicente's vast knowledge and business sense and Brenda's background helping underprivileged communities, together they have organized various events helping intercity youth. Together, their philanthropic work have helped children all over the US, Mexico and Nicaragua. Vicente's dedication to community was recognized by the Byzantine Latino Quarter Business Improvement District by naming him President. Vicente has a son, Vicente Scott Aguel.

re: Anna Gorder's marker
Hi Jill,
I was just looking at Anna Gorder's monument in the Perry Lutheran Cemetery, and I think a rubbing would be helpful. To me the dates look like:
born - Oct 28, 1845
died - Feb 22(27), 1873
The last number is definitely a"3".

RE: Huggins relationship to Reid family
There must be someone else with my name who is related. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help.

RE: Monson
Sorry, I don't have that message saved any longer, but the gist of it was a suggestion to add cemetery names where Nelvin Monson - Memorial# 101475736 and Dena Monson - Memorial# 101557794 are buried. This has been taken care of now.

Also, the message was to inform you that I added Nelvin Monson (a different memorial) per cemetery transcription records. I have DELETED that duplicate, now that his memorial was updated with the correct cemetery. See other MONSON family memorials that I created & linked, per various research. If you wish any of those memorials transferred to your care, please advise.

1. Lyda Mathison Monson - Memorial# 130023180
(wife of Nelvin)
2. Pvt Vernon H Monson - Memorial# 130023274
(son of Nelvin & Lyda)
3. Kenneth Nelvin Monson - Memorial# 130183223
(son of Nelvin & Lyda)

I prefer public messages, or to correspond via EDIT Suggestions. Perhaps you could change your e-mail address on your contributor profile in order to receive edit suggestions others might send you. You can also change your e-mail and then set it to not be displayed, if you want to keep it private. I prefer to keep my e-mail address private. Thanks!

RE: Huggins relationship to Reid family
The only memorial that seems to match with what you have is Ruth Chapman. Is this who you are asking about? If you click on the edit tab on the actual memorial then it will connect directly with whom you are sending information about.

Let me know if you did NOT receive my edit suggestions sent 5-19-14, for Nelvin Monson - Memorial# 101475736 and Dena Monson - Memorial# 101557794 - giving cemetery name for each. I have added and linked more of that family too.

Added by AlongTheWay on Jun 05, 2014 9:53 AM

Actually I posted the Blums because I too have a connection to Joseph. I prefer to keep them but you can always post pictures and get links made without owning the site. I will be happy to make any additions you wish.

RE: Sam and Ida Anderson
The transfers are made.
It would have been easier if you had specified the memorial numbers of the records you wanted transferred, besides their name

Debbie J
Thomas & Margaret Young - Flagg Spring and

you caught my mistake - Margaret died in 1833. The cemetery records say Thomas died in 1853 but that is not a 1853 stone. It's more like 1833.

Elizabeth H Phister transfer
Thanks Jill, That is the correct way to request transfers and I have made the transfer to your account.
If you follow that procedure in the future, it'll work much better and quicker for everybody.
Best of luck with your research.

Phister transfer
I would be delighted to transfer the memorial for Elizabeth (Harrison) Phister to you, BUT......
You should use the edit function to make that request. It's a tab on the memorial. That sends a link directly to the poster. You "edit" by asking the poster to have it transferred to you and provide your member number in the message. Findagrave then sends that to the poster and it is very automatic; no lookups, etc.

Hannah Terry Powell
You can link Hannah to her parents, William 60684588 and Rachel 60686252.

I'm sorry to hear about your sister-in-law.

I've found the memorials and transferred them to you. In the future, the easiest way to do this is to use the edit function. It's a tab on the memorial. That sends a link directly to the poster. You "edit" by asking the poster to have it transferred to you and provide your member number in the message. Findagrave then sends that to the poster and it is very automatic; no lookups, etc.

Jill, I'm happy to do this. Go to the memorial and request the transfer. Then I'm given a link and can do it most efficiently. Thanks.

RE: Ann Robinson Shapiro
You said, "correction: Ann's sister Frances Ruskin is buried at West Side Hebrew Cemetery in St. Paul, MN."

I found a Frances Ruskin (memorial #70075261) that is buried in West Side Hebrew Cemetery in St. Paul, MN. There is a picture of the headstone. It was added by Find A Grave Contributor, Dave Weiss, #46988490. Therefore, I'm unable to make any corrections/additions to this memorial.

Unfortunately, I cannot make any additions/corrections to the memorial of Ann Robinson Shapiro because I didn't add her to Find A Grave. She was added by Find A Grave Contributor, Nathan, #46866268.

Atwood Nesson
Photographed Atwood Nesson's grave today. I think he might be buried in a family plot. If you go to this memorial: the picture of the Allison graves are to the left of Hannah Nesson and Atwood is directly behind the "tree" in the middle of the photo. Don't know if these family's are linked but thought you might be interested.

RE: Final Request
hold on.
This is the first time you said that there are duplicates. Please understand that I have over 200,000 records to correct. You really need to be a little more understanding.

First. It would really be a big help if you submitted a request for deletion using the EDIT tab on top of the records as I've asked in my profile. It is really hard for me to manage all the requests for changes if they come from all directions.

I've issued deletes for Arthur W. Huggins
James Huggins. These are the 2 duplications that I found. All you had to do was ask that these 2 records be deleted DUE TO DUPLICATION.

I'm sorry for any misunderstanding.

RE: duplicate HUGGINS burials at Spring Grove Cemetery
My email address works fine. Perhaps you spelled it wrong. I deliberately spell my emails in odd ways to track spam using my email address so I can figure out where they are coming from.

I"m confused. What problem are we having? I would ask that you allow me to leave the records in place as history as we also are documenting the burials in Spring Grove Cemetery. I'm the caretaker of them and can continue to do so. We are finding that our records are becoming more accurate than the cemetery's records and we'd like to continue.

I'm not related. I'm just the caretaker of Autogravr records.

RE: Your procedure for eliminating duplicates
We will always remove duplicates when notified. We are also constantly running scripts that help automatically eliminate obvious duplicates. You certainly aren't being 'singled out'. We eliminate hundreds of duplicates every day.

As for the linking, you can only edit the links on memorials that you manage. You can always send an email to info at with edits, links, etc. for memorials that you do not directly manage.

Perhaps you have already noticed this, but your second duplicate for Mr. Huggins (which contained family links) was merged into our existing memorial. When this happened, the family links got moved over to the established memorial, so hopefully the it's "all good" now and every thing is linked up.
