Farris in Hamilton Cemetery

I think there's been a little mix-up on some parents here. For James Farris, Find A Grave Memorial# 10711328, there are two children listed there that were born before he was. Going by the death age, I calculate his DOB to be about 1850 (I sent an edit for this) and the "children" were born in 1840 and 1842. I'm pretty sure that these are likely the children of J.F. Farris, same cemetery, Find A Grave Memorial# 10716013. who was born in 1817. Take a look and see what you think. James and his spouse, Jane, are fine left as they are.

I have a correction for this man. His father is William Miller born 1780 and died 1847. But the mother's name is incorrect. It is not Mary Sterling Clack, just Mary Clack, daughter of Spencer Clack, born 1785 and died in 1860. This is all proven by family bible records, etc. Thank you. I would be willing to have him transferred to me. He is a close friend's great x6 uncle and she is not on Findagrave. Thanks, Diane.

RE: Are you related to Nancy Christensen
Yes, Nancy Jane Phillips was/is my GGrandmother. Nancy Jane was married twice, first to John R Harris who passed 1885 and then to Andrew Christensen who passed 1894. Two children born to Andrew and Nancy Jane; Loarn Christensen and my grandmother, Essie Christensen. Essie married William Street and you can follow the link for Essie (Find a grave memorial 87184412) her husband and Essie's children. Andrew Christensen (memorial 10421086) and his children by his first wife are buried beside him in Evergreen Cemetery. John R Harris and his son, John Edward Harris who married my great aunt, Olive Street(memorial 24074560) are also buried in Evergreen as are Tilman and Rebecca Boswell. Please share with me your relationship as well as any pix. Dad didn't know much about our ancestry so it was kinda like starting with a blank piece of paper. My e-mail is, telephone 623.516.0289
Waiting to hear from you.

Hello Shari
I possible, could you transfer my gggrandparents over to my management. If not, no problem, but please link them together as spouses. They are:
William Moses Jarrett (notice that his middle name is Moses) 10543416

and his wife: Margaret "Peggy" (nee Stoker) Jarrett 10543418.

Their daughter is my great grandmother, Nancy Penina Jarrett Rhodes.

I have quite a bit of obit information for these two grandparents and I will get back to you with that. Margaret's father was Robert Allen Stoker III and he and his wife died in Marlborough, Carroll County, Tennessee, but I haven't located their gravesites yet.

Anyway, regards,
John Rhodes Reeder

Isaac Johnson
I forgot to mention that both sources state that Isaac served in the War of 1812, which I see on the memorial.

You'll notice I'm the one who also left a message re Eliza Ann Inman. Eliza was my great-grandmother. Her daughter was married to John C. Johnson, my grandfather--son of James Henry Johnson, who is also buried at Hamilton Cemetery. I'm trying to find out if Isaac is possibly James Henry's father.

I'm finding out Hamilton seems to be a family cemetery.

Thank you for your patience. Linda

Isaac Johnson Memorial
Regarding the Isaac Johnson memorial at Hamilton Cemetery, Cabool, MO: In searching for my great-great grandparents, I found a letter dated 1987 from a lady also searching. She was looking for info on Isaac Johnson & gave these details:

Isaac Johnson, born 1787 in Tennessee.
Married Elizabeth Shelton in 1816 in Warren Co., TN.
Died: May 25, 1876 in Houston, MO.
Buried: Hamilton Cemetery, Cabool, MO

This info is also on RootsWeb's site by another person who states some of it came from Isaac's pension file.

I think this info belongs to this Isaac Johnson. If you think so, you can add dates to this memorial. Thank You

Eliza Ann Inman memorial
Hi Shari. First of all, thank you for the work you & your husband do. Second, I searched for Eliza Ann (my great-grandmother) & didn't find a memorial--possibly because I put dates in the search. I got a negative result, so I created a memorial for her. I just now stumbled across the one you created. If you want, I can delete mine & give you all the info I added or you can delete yours & I'll add the link to her other daughter--Lorania.

I'm sorry this happened. Please let me know what you want to do.

Thank you, Linda

Mary Harlow Grave
Hi Shari, I have been seraching for Harlow family graves. I have found my Great Great Grandfather's, G B Harlow (he went by Green short for Greenberry), grave located in Harlow Cemetery Texas County Missouri. I have been looking for the grave of my Great Great Grandmother Mary E (Thorpe) Harlow. I am curious as to the year of birth that you have noted for Mary Harlow located in the Cold Spring Cemetery Texas County Missouri (near Harlow Cemetery). It is noted that she was born in 1863. Could it have possibly been 1836? Could the last two numbers have been transposed? The year of death matches the one that I am looking for. The Mary Harlow I am looking for would have been born in 1836 and would have been 44 yrs old during the census of 1880. The Mary Harlow's grave you have posted is in the area of the county where mine would be located. The only problem is the year of birth. Any information you have would be greatly appreciated! Have a Happy 4th of July!
