|Anita Goosey Gronas||RE: Armina Roach-Goosey|
Let me get back with you....I think I still have your email address. There is a gentleman who I was "introduced" to on the internet and he is the one who was saying that while walking his property one day, with a neighbor of his (I believe), that he came upon this small graveyard. He was kind enough to take some photos and send them to me. I understood him to say that there were several grave sites, but only one with markings and that was Armine Goosey.
I will go back to my addresses and put you in contact with the gentleman I spoke with. He is much more knowledgeable of the area than I am and hopefully, can help you.

|Green Queenie||Osten Lundesdatter (Lunsetter)|
Thank you so much for taking the time to search out and photograph this headstone for me! Could you actually read the spelling on the stone? My thought is that is actually Osten Lunsetter, or Lundsateren but I was hoping that the stone would help to clarify. I'm finding it hard to see the details. Again, many thanks!

|Marc Rafferty||Photo request|
Just want to thank you for photographing the marker for Mary (Weld) White in the British Hollow Cemetery. That request has languished in the request file for years, and it was very helpful to establish that she was indeed buried there. I live in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area and would be happy to return the favor one of these days. Thanks again!

I came across a Death Certificate for Patricia and posted what was on it here. The Cemetery, dates etc are what was listed on the Death Certificate.
Hope this helps,

|McFarland||RE: This headstone appears to be the same as #94214849 Isaac Alcorn.|
I almost did the same, but did some name searches and found the cemetery as listed in Find A Grave.
Some stones get an odd moss on them that grows almost black, and sometimes thick. It makes reading
them very difficult, as I try not to do too much cleaning of them.

|McFarland||This headstone appears to be the same as #94214849 Isaac Alcorn.|
I'll change the name to read Alcorn. the stone is now very hard to read.
I'll then request Find A Grave to merge the 13 memorials in the non-existant SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST cemetery into ADVENT cemetery.
Memorials placed in the wrong cemetery do not count in Find A Grave's standards, but they will use photos, BIO data, etc. in merging.

|Arthur Little||Levi Grissom #9551994|
In the remarks section you stated "He later married Martha Little".
Martha Little was born Nov 1843 and died 3 Sep 1865. Martha and Levi Married 30 Aug 1859.
All of the children listed 1868 and later.
If you could change it to "Previous married to Martha Little" or feel free to add the other information as well.
There is a group of 8 of us from the Little DNA project that are trying to straighten out this family. They are a messy bunch believe me.
Thanks for the listen.

The photo of Fleming Smith's stone is great. It was a nice surprise to find this. I have the information that he was buried there but wasn't sure if he had a stone or that it was in Findagrave. Do you happen to know if his wife Prudence is buried next to him or his daughter Dorcas? Fleming is my gr, gr, gr, gr grandfather. Fleming's no is 9426900. Tia

Mark, I live in Farley, IA and noticed that the photo for Fairview in Earlville is actually the photo fo Fairview in Farley. It's easy to confuse the two Fairview's in such close proximity to each other.

Mark, thank you so much for the tombstone photo for Isaac Alcorn. I really think it is so important that we get these Civil War Veterans tombstones documented. I appreciate your time and effort in doing this for me.

Thanks for the great photo of Cora's headstone. One of the great things that comes of these photos is added information. In this case we got the burial place of her husband Russell. I created a memorial for him and added links. If you would be so kind as to add the photo you took of Cora and Russell's headstone to Russell's new memorial: Find A Grave Memorial# 92964550
that would be great. Thanks so much. Tom Walden
