Arabelle's mother, Sarah Jane Campbell Dobbs, was a sister to my great-great grandfather James Wesley Campbell. Until I found your info on find-a-grave, I didn't have any photos of that generation. Did you obtain those photos from her family members? If so, could you provide me with the info about how to contact them? I would appreciate any assistance you can provide me. Thanks, too, for posting the info on her. Helen McDarment; firstname.lastname@example.org

Thank you so much for putting in the picture of my Grandmother Neoma Kley. Imagine my surprise when I hit enter and saw her smiling face pop up! I believe that pic was taken during the family reunion my mom (Phyllis Jenkins) and Grandma Kley had at their house. Thanks again!!

Hi Cuz: I added a picture of John Henry Miller - hope you don't mind, the one you had out there is sort of distorted.
I have made a connection to John Henry Miller on my dad's side of the family "HAWLEY" - so I guess you can say I'm doublely related to him. HAWLEY / JACKSON. ha!

|Jennifer Otte||RE: Arnold Otte @ Concord Cemetery|
Hi Michael! Arnold's wife Regina was my Grandmother in law. She just passed on Monday, June 22 at 99 years old. I'm working on our family tree as well. If I can be of any help let me know. I'd be happy to extend an invitation to the tree I'm working on if you like :) I haven't gotten too far but as you know a family tree is always a work in progress!

|Jennifer Otte||Arnold Otte @ Concord Cemetery|
Hi I was just curious where you acquired the photo of Arnold Otte that was added to his gravesite listing? He is my Grand Father in Law. I didn't see it on here yesterday and it surprised me to see it today when searching the address of the cemetery.

|Fay C. Leonard||Nancy Jackson Hicks|
A photo has been added of her tombstone. It appears a newer monument has been added in front of the older limestone marker. You may wish to change the order of the photos since the photos I added moved her portrait to the bottom. In case you are not aware, there is an option when you add a photo to add a photo of a person rather than a grave. This always keeps the person's photo at the top.

Was so surprised to see my Grandfather's name come up when I did a search on facebook (of all places). Still don't know how I managed that! :)
I also learned my Grandmother's name was Genevieve. Evidently, she went by Jemima because that was the only name I had heard. My Aunt Lottie did tell me she died when my Mother was around 2 or 3 yrs old (so that would have been around 1925-1926 or so) because Mama was a toddler and would cry for her Mama. My Mother was born in Jan. 1923. Aunt Lottie was in her 90's when she came to see Mama right before she died in 1993.

|WMVAN||John Elbert Weston|
I want to tell you how much I enjoyed the WESTON family pics !
John Elbert and my Mom are first cousins altho Mom was younger and removed two times farther down the family tree than John.
John's father is actually INCORRECTLY shown as Andrew on his MO Death Record. Andrew was an uncle while John's father was another, John N Weston, Civil War vet:
John N's death early in John Elbert's life(ae 6/7), and his Mom's remarriage may have caused confusion. You may be able to view John at the bottom of the page with his Mom, Mary E Chase Weston Terry, shown as head of household in 1880.
Her marriage to John Elbert's father, John N:
!MARRIAGE: Vital Records of Lapeer Co, Lapeer, Michigan. John, aged 25, of Hadley and Mary E, no age or hometown, married in Hadley in the presence of witnesses, Abraham Tunison of Hadley and Wm Clark of Elba Co,Michigan, by Alvah Bently, Justice of the Peace.

I see on John Evans memorial page that you posted two black & white photos of John. Do you have any family information about him or just the photos? I was great, great-grandfather's nephew and I am trying to fill in some family information.
Thanks for you help.

Thanks for the brief history on the cemeteries....it helps clear up my confusion. Also gives me a better idea of who is buried where.
Added by SMG on Mar 15, 2013 10:46 AM
I went on Google Earth and solved the problem....there ARE two cemeteries. Now if I could only sort them out....who's buried where! Sorry to have bothered you.
Added by SMG on Mar 13, 2013 8:19 PM
I'm asking you because you took pictures of this cemetery.
Are these two different cemeteries or are they one and the same? The maps make them look like two different cemeteries but one of the pictures looks the same?
Here's the first one:
and here's the second:
I'm trying to get my memorials in the RIGHT cemetery. The DC's only state burial place: Loose Creek, MO. (???)
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
