Thanks for the edit suggestion. I checked and the actual proper post was there so there must have been a glitch when I was entering. I deleted the "oops". Thanks again for the heads-up!

RE: Grace Dukeman Stober
Thanks ever so much. It takes a village, right? I love doing this. I hope people will benefit from this site for years to come.

I went ahead and added Grace's memorial with the info that I had, knowing that I would be going back soon to get a better photo. I also could have had the staff look it up by the crypt number. They are so nice there.

If you aren't' busy on Sunday, they are having their 2nd Annual Dia de Los Muertos. In 2012 they just had a small reception area on the front lawn for visitors, then last year it was a full-blown event. I am not Mexican but I went last year and it was really fun. They have dancers, booths, food trucks, etc. There are photos on their website under Gallery - Events. I think it starts at 11:00 a.m.

Take care,
B.J.

RE: Grace Dukeman Stober
Thank you! I appreciate your help. I will be there again this weekend and I'm bringing a spotlight to make it easier to read. I don't know if you've ever been there, but the lighting is very poor and the name plaques are very tarnished.

How did you manage to stumble upon this entry so soon after I created it? Are you looking for Dukemans? There are quite a few in the crypts surrounding Grace.

Best regards,
B.J.

Wilson Parker Burns
Hi, some time ago you told me that you are distantly related to Wilson Burns. Well, I have been talking to a niece of his who remembers him as Uncle Buzz so I was wondering just how you are related and if you know any the the Burns descendants in Colorado Springs. If you chose, you can write me back at ron.west@centurylink.net.

Thanks!

RE: Ella Cariens Obit
I was given the memorial for Ted and have updated Ella's memorial. As for other surviving relations, I would say just don't put them in the obituary since your not sure.

Ralph in Cedar Hill
Thank you! I got the 2 Ralph only memorials deleted. I appreciate you letting me know of my oversight. I got called away as I was entering the data, 3 times, and inadvertently hit enter as soon as I typed in Ralph's name.

I am not related to him. Are you? would you like to maintain his memorial?
Thanks again, Debbie

Not sure about any living relatives. If you aren't sure, I would delete the living ones. I usually send the obituary and the person receiving knows which persons to delete.

Dora
Sorry for the mix up. I must have started to make memorial and got sidetracked and started over. As Dora & Dora Wheeler were made the same day and a few mem. #'s apart I have to assume this is what I did. I am going to delete the Dora Memorial. Thanks for your effort. Now I can make it right. Best regards, Don

Re: Nowles family
The only relationship I have with the Nowles family is Clifford who married a Schneeberger. John Schneeberger was the first one born in the U.S. His mother was Roseanna Nyfeler. She was my great-grandfather's cousin. Her father was the oldest son and my great grandfather was the youngest son. Both of their parents died and the oldest son, Andre raised the youngest brother, Samuel. So Roseanna and Samuel were raised like brother and sister. She married Johann Schneeberger and they came over first and they encouraged my g-grandfather to bring his family over. They were from Switzerland and spoke German. Many Swiss had settled in that area of Ohio. It was right before the Civil War when they arrived. The Schneebergers stayed in Ohio and the Nyfelers moved to Kansas where the land was really cheap as told by the Isleys. I haven't had much luck with the Schneebergers until this week. Keep looking! As more people put on information about their families and Ancestry keeps putting up more you will eventually find who you are looking for. Good luck and thanks again for your work. Joanne

Thank you for posting the memorial for Belle #122041306. I note that you have also posted memorials for her husband and his son. Are you related to Belle? She is a sister to my husband's great grandfather.

The full Bible text is cited. I changed the name in the memorial. Actually had "Infant" and then changed to "Unknown" as that is usually what I've shown in my own records.

Thanks,
Jay
