Hi Russ,
We respectfully request permission to use the entrance photo in our personal tree. Bruce has a cousin interred there and the photo will make a great addition to our tree.

Thanks for your consideration.

Luzanna S. Williams
Hello Russ,

You have Luzanna (26604393) and my John Williams (26603757) as her spouse. I see her headstone and see that she was married to a John Williams but it is not the one who married Nancy Keefer.

John Williams was married to Nancy Keefer before 1835. It would not have been possible for John to have had 2 spouses. I have their obits.

Can you please disconnect their relationship please.

Thanks much
Kathy Lutzke

Belmont Cemetery
The Belmont Cemetery is aka Belmont Park Cemetery. I went in to the office to explain that I was volunteer for Find A Grave. There are almost 100 requests for photos. Unfortunately, the cemetery charges a fee for more than 3 requests. I am trying to inform those who have requests for this cemetery to call the office directly and then add the plot, lot, etc. to the burial information. Once the additional lot information has been added, I should be able to find the gravesites. Thanks, jan

Hello Russ,

I've been doing research on my ancestor (Nancy Keifer Williams) and her husband. They lived in Warren. I believe the John W. Williams that you have a memorial on may be her husband.

I've been in contact with the library and they sent me some history on the cemetery. Are you directly related to the Seely's and Williams' families?

The memorials you have on the Cadwalader's is also mentioned in this document.

You may have already obtained this information. If you are interested, I'd me happy to send to you.

I also have the obit on John W. Williams. I'm in the process of confirming if he was the spouse of Nancy Keifer Williams.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Martha Williams

I'm curious about the Martha Williams you have entered for Brookfield Cemetery. Do you have any more information on her? I've been searching for Martha for sometime as she should be buried at the Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville, OH near her husband I was hoping and since it was by accident that I found her husband (Llewelin Reese Williams, d. 1892) because he doesn't have a grave marker but luckily in this instance the cemetery has him listed buried near his one son. She died in 1884 and unfortunately the records were destroyed or partially damaged and of course Martha's record was one of those. She died first out of the group buried at Union cemetery (plot OC179) and I'm searching for her near her husband or it is even possible she might be in one of the two empty graves on OC179 but the documentation wasn't kept up throughout the years. I've even thought she might be in another cemetery within Tuscarawas County but that is a stretch. Thanks and sorry for the length.

Graham Cemetery, Southington, Trumbull Co, OH
I see you took photos at this cemetery. However, the GPS coordinates point to Reform Cemetery?

Can you advise if these are one and the same cemetery or, at least, they are close together?

Norma B. Rice
Brookfield Center Cemetery,
Brookfield, Trumbull County, OH. 1986.
We visited this cemetery in 1986. The fence was not there and we passed it as we traveled toward the farm of Fred Taylor who purchased the Custer farm after Byron Custer died.
Since then we have a picture of the grave of Byron Custer as taken by a local resident especially for our information.
One tree had a metal piece of equipment embedded in the tree as the tree grew. Is that still there in that cemetery?

Private Joseph Custer, 1835-1864
I am a Custer Historian from Michigan. I started research in 1978 when I joined Ferris State College library staff. My research covers, MI, OH, Mercer Co., PA, Renton, King Co., WA, as my core research.
I go back from Judah Custer aka Charles J. Custer, through his father, Joseph Custer, 13 April 1800 - Dec. 1836. Joseph m. November 19, 1821, to Elizabeth Williams. I have followed Trumbull Co., legal documents for Joseph & Elizabeth Custer. I seeking documented parentage of Joseph Custer. [Believed to be Emanuel Custer & Ann Miller.] as given by a descendant of Samuel Custer, from Mercer Co., PA.

I am seeking military records for Private Joseph Custer, Jr. who died in Chattanooga, Hamilton Co., TN.
Chattanooga National Cemetery. Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee, d. 08/24/1864, Custer, Joseph, CPL C 125 OHIO INF CIVIL WAR, Plot: F 2091.*
We have pictures from the actual site, by my daughter. But the court records there have not been looked at. Hoping to find additional information for his parentage and ancestry.
