|Love in Family||Thaxton / Washington|
Becky, as you notice I have transferred the Thaxton's from my memorials to you. I was honestly working on the County Line Church from the highway 36 road frontage and I came across a listing for these in an old index and knew they had to be recorded. There are Thaxton's and Washington's of Color but I could not find these names among them. If you disapprove please let me know.... Happy hunting Bren

|Grant Rice||RE: Findagrave Memorial|
Becky, I just went back to the Bio on Georgia and notice that I had Roberts middle name as James. I changed it. His middle name was Jackson. Robert James Stewart was William Stewarts son. That's me sitting on the Lap of my Great Grandma Georgia's Lap and my mother on the right. She had arthritis so bad that she was in a wheel chair and bedridden most of her last few years. I keep the younger picture of her on my dresser today. The Ramsey name on my wifes side were all from the Spartanburg, Gaffney SC area.

Becky, You are more than welcome to use any photographs I have posted. The Ramsey name was on my mother in-law Elizabeth Abernathy's side. As you probably already know it gets more and more interesting the more we find out about our ancestors. I may add pictures all along and you are welcome to future pictures as well. Grant

Thanks for the kind words Becky. I should have responded sooner but both my husband and I have had the flu! I'm happy to make contribution to findagrave and to share my discoveries. I love finding families and linking them together. I have spent countless hours researching to try to make sure I have the correct family members linked together and will happily make corrections should anyone ask.
