|deetsdon||Re: Butler (Father, Mother and Son)|
Hi Ann.... could you please connect John Jr., Butler #51093873 to his father John Sr. #132153955 and his mother Evelyn #132153972.
I cannot do this as it has to be done from the son's memorial. Also John Jr's memorial page reflects that this headstone shows other people sharing the head stone but there are no other names engraved? Can you please clarify this? Thank you so for updating this info.

|Farrar and related families||The Winans family memorials|
Thank you very, very much for the transfer of the memorials for the Winans family members. They are Blackmar/Blackmer descendants and I am trying hard to get these folks organized. Any help you may be able to lend, based on info you come into, things you might think of, etc., is always greatly appreciated. Thanks for all efforts you have made in helping to get these memorials developed. Best wishes for a very Happy New Year to you.

I saw that you left flowers for Lillian M. (Ash) Nixon Hardy, are you related? Her first husband, Edward Wheeler Nixon, was a distant cousin of mine. Thanks!

|Norma Combs||RE: Lippetts|
The Lippitts buried in the Grove Street Cemetery in Putnam, CT are in my direct line. I am such a new Find A Grave member (like two days ago)that I'm not sure what is entailed in being responsible for a record. Can you explain? Hopefully, it is something I could do.

|Tom Schoening||John Rorabaugh|
Ann: You have posted John Rorabaugh (1811-1879 - ID # 14816221 - do Your records show anything about a marriage to Mary Jane Moore-Schoening.
Mary Jane was first married to Frederick Schoening and after his death in 1854 she married his brother Henry Ferdinand Schoening who died in 1864. Family notes show that she married a John Rorabaugh. Mary Jane is interred in the New Millport Cemetery with the Schoening's however her gravestone does in fact show the surname Rorabaugh.
Should You concur with the above, would it be ok to link Mary Jane to John ???
Looking forward to Your input.
Regards - Tom Schoening

What a pleasant surprise.
I also have a photo of this headstone.
I grew up 4 miles from this spot and was over 60 before I got interested in family history.
I am connected though the John Bitner/Susanna Nestlerode line.
And we may also be connected through the Simon Rohrbach/Eve Reed family - through their son David Rohrbaugh?
Anna Margaret Bott's father Henry Bott was also involved with the Rev. War in PA....now confirmedwith the SAR.

I made the connection per the request of another family member. I believe they were wrong. I cannot find Mary Alice Drew with her father. I did find her with her widowed Mother in the 1870 Census.
Thank you for letting me know about the error. I am leery of ever adding info or making connections just because someone asks me to.
