|Barbara Lintner||Your Mom|
I was hunting for a name on findagrave and opened your Mom's just at random, so glad I did. What a wonderful eulogy you wrote for your Mom. I sat here and cried while I read it. I am just a couple of years older than your Mom and I so hope my kids can think of me in a kind and wonderful way as you did your Mom. I never had the luxury of being the stay home mom that your mom did but I sure wanted to. I was not fortunate enough to had the marriage your parents had so I was the the single mother of 3 who sometimes worked 2 jobs just to keep a roof over our heads. I don't feel sorry for myself but I do feel like I missed so much by not getting to be home when they came in from school are been able to set at the breakfast table with them of a morning before sending them off to school. My life was more hurry get ready it is time to leave for school or hurry and finish your homework it is passed our bedtime. Now I am retired and they are busy with their on kids so the cycle keeps spinning....thank you for your wonderful memories of your Mom and I hope one day you can read the ones my kids wrote about their Mom and they will be as glowing as yours. Barbara

You left flowers for a Nannie Armstrong in Kentucky. Do you happen to know anything about this person. I am doing my family research and I know my Great Great Grandfather was James T Armstrong the Rough Rider from Texas. I only know his father was John Armstrong and his mother was Nannie Standifer. I am trying to find more information about them.

We should all live our lives that someone would leave a memorial to us as you did your mother. Your parents sounded like remarkable people. You were very blessed to have them. God bless You.

|Lisa C.||Loved your Mom's Memorial...|
I love it so much, and just had to write and tell you. I wish everyone wrote memorials like that. You were a lucky girl to have parents like that.. Many parents stay together, but they so often do not love each other to the end the way that yours did!

I just read your lovely tribute to your mother. What a wonderful legacy your parents gave you gave you in their love for each other. I just saw her little memorial box feature when looking up something else. She was born the same year as I was, so I decided to read about her. I'm glad I did.

YOUR MOTHER SOUNDS LIKE SUCH A LOVING AND CARING WOMAN. I ALSO LOST MY MOTHER AT THE AGE OF 62 IN JAN 2005. I WAS HER ONLY DAUGHTER SHE WAS MY BEST FRIEND. I LOST MY FATHER THIS PAST FEB18,2008 FROM CANCER. HE WAS ONLY 64 YEARS OLD. MY MOTHER PASSED AWAY ALSO FROM A HEART ATTACK. MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU. TAKE CARE. DENISE.

I too lost my mom when she was 49 years young. I was an only child and was very close to my mother. Your story brought tears to my eyes. My mom didn't survive her heart attack. She died on the operating table. No one truely understands the pain of losing their mother until they have done so themselves. I am glad to know that I am not alone in this world and there are other kind wonderful people in the world.
May our angels in heaven watch over us.

|In Loving Memory of Mi Familia||Thank you|
I would like to take the time to thank you Chrissy, you are amazing. Sometimes it is so hard to find the kindness in people, but when I log on to Find a Grave, you remind me I am wrong. I can't say thanks enough. There are no words to express my feelings, if I can do anything, or repay you, you know where to reach me.
