Thank you so much for updating his memorial. I so appreciate the work you are doing at Oak View Cemetery. I am anxious to know if you want to receive more edits for the Parsons Family or if you would like to transfer them to me. Regards, Margaret

Do you have any Hunt's in the Pamplin, VA cemetery?

I recently found an obituary for Dr. I. Cochrane Hunt, pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Missouri. It states his funeral was at Pamplin, VA his boyhood home.

I will be happy to enter it if you do have them in your cemetery.

Just wanted to let you know she is already listed as Mary Elizabeth Fowlkes Thackston Find A Grave#18769576 - Memorial has more detail except the year date of Death is 1888 which is incorrect (I enlarged your picture of headstone) Yall might want to correct and combine pictures, etc. Thanks for checking.

Terre Noire
Memorial# 51334819
Patrick Henry Carey Cabell whose grave is shown at Find A Grave Memorial# 51334819 is not the son of Samuel Jordan Cabell and Sarah Syme. Nor was he born in 1799 nor died in 1838. Patrick Henry Cabell was one of the 5 sons of Samuel Jordan and Sarah Syme Cabell. Patrick Henry Carey Cabell is a great-nephew of the particular Patrick Henry Cabell and was born in in 1864 as is legible on the tombstone.

this is a duplicate to one already entered with death date. That one needs a picture. You need to add picture to other entry and delete or add death date to yours. Thanks K

RE: Myron Smith, etc.

I am very glad I could help. Replies like this are why I keep doing it. Someone helped me greatly in the past and I am trying very hard to pay it forward.

As far as how many wives Myron had, in researching if the Gages next to their stone were related I discovered that his marriage card to Dezette for Dec 3 1875 states that this is his first marriage.
When you then look at the 1900 census it does say Sarah D, but that they had been married 24 years. That all calculates back to approx the 1875 marriage date. That leaves 13 years until his death in 1913.

I was looking at some graves at the Pamplin Cemetary and saw your name and read your bio. Do you have any idea where the Farra, Pankey, Beale Cemetary may be? I'm a descendant of Pankey and was looking for the cemetary. I live about 3 hours away. Thanks for any information you can provide.
