Honemann Family - Natrona, KS
Thank you for posting all of the photos for the Honemann family buried in the Saint Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Natrona, KS. These are all related to my second great grandmother, Catherine M. Honemann in Germany. Henry was her brother. If you would like to transfer these memorials to me, I would be happy to handle them.

Thanks again. It was a real treat to find these today!

Claudette Brown
Mary F. Nickell
Wife of Tony Nickell/Nichols
I see that you or someone has indicated Marys maiden name as Greggs. I have recently been in touch with Marys' great granddaughter Betty Sue. I'm attempting to research her branch of the family tree. Betty Sue tells me that her gr-grandparents were Tony & Mary Bankston Hoppis Nichols. There is no doubt that the headstone in the Nichols Chinquapin Cemetery is that of Tony and Mary, so I am curious about the discrepancy between Marys' maiden name. I'm not having much luck tracking down the relevent records for either Bankston or Hoppis and now I'm even more confused so, can you tell me the source of the Greggs maiden name?

I want to take the time to thank you for all the photos of the Fowler tombstones you did. It really helps me in my family research. I know how much time and trouble is involved as I try to help people with photos in our little local cemetery. Again, your help is greatly appreciated.

Claudette Brown
Nichols / Nickell Cemetery
Many thanks to you!! I've been looking on-line for this cemetery for a long time. My father took me there once about 20 years ago, so I knew it had to be listed somewhere. My grandmother was Emma Nickell Brown and her father and mother were Andrew Jackson Nickell and Julia M. 'Dotch' Thornton Nickell.
My part of the family grew up in far away California, so we didn't get to visit the Arkansas relatives much. Your contribution has be a godsend.
Thanks again,
Claudette (Brown) Confer

Shapensteens-Western Grove
Many thanks for adding my paternal grandparents, Joe Will & Lydia Ann Sharpensteen, and my paternal aunt, Fannie Grace Sharpensteen. It means so much to me. There are so few of us Sharpensteens across the country---it is heart-warming to know that there are others who understand how important these little connections can be.
