|David Miller||Dr. C.C. Broaddus|
I just noticed you had added a listing for my great great grandfather, Dr. CC Broaddus. I have been attempting research on him at the Library of Virginia. I found a newspaper article from Jan. 1901 saying that he had been buried on the grounds of the Western State Asylum and then sometime later, his relatives had him dug up and reburied in the family plot at his home. I could not find a listing for him in the registration records of the asylum. I did find a listing for his daughter, Sallie Broaddus. I am wondering since he was a pretty famous doctor in Caroline, did they keep it a secret that he was a patient at the asylum? I find it very odd they quickly buried him and then his family came to take his body home at a later time. Where did you get your information that he died in 1900? I had assumed this since the article was from Jan. 1901, but cannot find a precise date of death. I guess I will try to get a copy of his death certificate. Thank you for any information and I welcome any correspondence from interested parties or descendants. My Mother, Linda Fuller Miller, her father, Raymond Fuller, his mother Alice Broaddus Fuller, her father, Dr. Cornelius Campbell Broaddus.

Can you help me locate a husband and wife that passed away in DC? It seems that DC has that 50 year rule about obtaining a copy of a Death Certificate, which is keeping me from finding their burial location. Could you access the Obits in the Library?
Please help me if you can.

Hi! I see you have some more photo requests for Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland Maryland. I'm taking a trip there soon and I'm planning on trying to fulfill as many requests as I can. Since this cemetery is so large (about 80,000 graves) it would help to have the section and plots of the burials. I have spoken to Carmelita Walker from CHC. She said she can't give locations of these sites to me since I'm not related but she said if you call her at 301-568-5400 & tell her that you're a relative (or think you may be!) she can give it to you. She said there's no charge for this information. If you could get the info soon (by 9/6) that would be great! If you are no longer interested in fulfilling the request for whatever reason, just let me know too so I can cross it off my list. Thanks!

|David Noveske||Mary Hill|
Have added 2 pictures of the overall cemetery. -- awaiting mgt approval for publication. Also be aware it is my understanding there are graves outside the wall boundaries because the grave yard was full and there is supposed to be a slave cemetery in the immediate area as well. Also transfer Mary Hill(2)to you -- for update as you discover more about her.

|David Noveske||Hills at Mt Ary|
Added 10 pictures of the found graves in this cemetery with 2nd Mary Hill. Will try and go back and transcribe this older Mary Hill marker to better id who it is. Maybe you can reaseach and suggest whose mother this is. Am confused by these all say "my ....." wonder who is person is/was. There are more than 2 dozen more graves in this walled area. Apprears that more grave stones are buried in the alled grave yard.
