Daniel F. Zook
I used the book Old Order Amish Cemeteries in Lancaster County, p. 87 for the information on Daniel Zook's family. Senior and Junior. The book got its information from page 10561 in the Fisher Book. I don't have any idea which is right, but the book has been fairly reliable as is the Fisher Book.

Find A Grave
Hello Grammmie, my name is Mike and Daisy Myers is my Grand Aunt, Memorial #30635057. I am inquiring about what transferring files involves and copyright procedures. Someone has already listed your Myers grave picture. Now if someone goes into Ancestry .com and finds that new entry they will not be aware of your copyright and once they click on the picture, it could be perpetuated by yet another Ancestry Tree!
I am aware that Ancestry .com has purchased Find A Grave. com so I contacted them for an answer. I explained your situation and stated I recently received many 'New Hints' from Ancestry regarding photo entries I had submitted in the past. When people copy & past pictures, new hints are created without giving credit to the originator.
This also creates unneeded work on our part to eliminate hints created in the process. Ancestry advised that we relinquish our copyright whenever
we submit pictures on Ancestry! Would like to share all Myers documents with you or anyone else who might read this. Would like to know if there are any Myers blanks in my tree that you would be willing to share. I am in contact with grandchildren of Daisy in FL who would greatly appreciate any history you would be willing to share. Grammie would like to communicate with you further, but not on this public forum. Mike

I am sorry for your lost. Since she is cremated and buried out in Las Vegas. I will delete my memorial and you can either create a new one or not. Your choice. Thank you for letting me know. God Bless.

RE: Levi & Phebe Wise
Thank you very much Wanda! Yes, I have alot of relatives at Bellevue. My paternal grandparents lived up on the hill from the clock tower next to the train tracks. And I also have alot of relatives at Pequea Presbyterian. If I can figure out a way to get all the relatives on a list for Bellevue I'll get one to you. If you need me leave a message. I have been living in Phoenix, AZ since 1975 and this and my sister who lives in Ephrata are the only links I have to back there. Thanks, Betty Spickler Nelson Phoenix AZ.

RE: Ella Gertrude Hirst
Hi Wanda,

I just mapped the cemetery and it is "downstate" about 3 hours south of me just outside Bloomington, IL. I'm not ever in that area at all. I'm sure it is quite a mystery as to why he moved there!!

Ella Gertrude Hirst
Hi Wanda,

I may be mistaken on the Zelva I just sent over. I have found an Ella Gertrude Hirst, daughter of Thomas and Sarah in Ancestry Gerberich Collection gravestone inscriptions! I think you were much closer on the Ella Gertrude! born 1880 died 1881

also in the collection I see John Hirst, child of Thomas and Sarah, 1862-1862

Hi Wanda,

I just submitted a correction for you on a Zelva Hirst per the 1900 and 1910 census she is the daughter of Sarah (Lingerfield) Hirst and Thomas Hirst. thank you! Sarah Lingerfield was my 3x great aunt, so Zelva is my 1st cousin 4x removed!

Zelva was born in Jan 1883 per the 1900 census

Thank you,

George D. Hess
I hope you don't find this strange, but I was at the Upper Octorara Church Cemetery several years ago looking for my Great Grandmother's grave along with her parents, siblings and son. I came across a grave of a U.S. Marine that didn't have a flag on it. This was shortly after memorial day so I found it sad that he was forgotten about. That grave was George D. Hess. I went back off and on over the years to check on George. I made it my own personal responsibility to make sure he wasn't forgotten again. I found this website to research my family, and thought I would look George up too. I saw your message that said "I remember going with my grandmother, when I was little, to put flowers on his grave. I'm probably the last one in the family that even remembers he's here and continue to maintain his grave for her." I was so touched by that and just wanted to let you know that he hasn't been forgotten, even if by a complete stranger. I also wondered if maybe he had family that looked after him and maybe didn't want a flag on his grave and they removed it. If you have a problem with it, I will completely understand and not put one there if the AM Vets don't. Thanks for reading,
Tina

RE: request for transfer
Hi Wanda, Thanks for the transfer. Sarah was at our home in Philadelphia often to visit my family. My paternal grandmother was Lillian Zwicker (nee Boofter)sister to Grace Boofter, Emma Steen, and Annie Varnes, all of Parkesburg. I could talk to you for hours of the times we had there when I was young. Sarah Garnett Eby is a cousin; her grandmother, Lydia Whiteman Townsley, was the sister of my great-grandmother, Rachel Whiteman Boofter. I hope we can share more stories in the future.

RE: Frank Lindecamp
I went a head and added Frank's memorial back. I have no idea what happened to it. I do believe he is buried in Atglen Methodist. I would think his wife would be buried there also, but I am in sure. Her name was Nellie M. Lindecamp - if you happen to come across a photo for her. I also can still send that updated info on Emma J. Lindecamp if you still need it....
Thank you for all your help
