T/4 William P Huston was a soldier in the 3407th Ordnance Company and killed on 11 July 1943 at Gela in Sicily. he was first buried in the small 1st Infantry Divisional Cemetery behind the Gela invasion beaches. On 27 July 1943 he was reburied in the temporary American GELA Cemetery in grave C-27-320. After the war his remains were repatriated and buried in Davison, Michigan.
Over 1,200 men and women were buried in the GELA Cemetery. I am writing a book about this cemetery and want to use the picture you took of his grave, of course you will be credited and notified when the book will be finished next year
