Edwin Stringfellow
I just posted a grave marker photo to your memorial for Edwin J Stringfellow, Sr. at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, TX. According to the marker his birth year is 1926. You have 1924. Also, you can add his death date, 18 Apr 1993. The marker transcription is:
US Army
World War II
Our beloved Poppy

He's buried in the Veterans I section.

Thanks!

RE: davis,toms,lockaby
I'm afraid I don't have any idea. I tried doing a death certificate search on RecordSearch but was unable to find anything at all. Although people were supposed to start reporting deaths to the state beginning in 1903, I've heard it said & found it to be true in some occasions that this was not done all the time in accordance with the law. My one Davis relative was Charles Thomas Davis who married my great aunt Minnie Vera Turnipseed, but he was the son of Thomson D & Elizabeth Purilla Karnes/Carnes Davis & according to their memorial on findagrave.com, they had no daughters named Ann or Mattie.

Sorry I was not able to help fill a blank in your family history.
